Can't say there was anything overwhelming about Spore. It was a short game and every stage of evolution was built on a dumb minigame, usually to the tune of how you procreate in creature stage. the Space age was only marginally more work. Mostly just travel to the middle and end of the universe to survive.

Can't say either that I liked Spore. One of those beat it 'cause I spent X amount of wasted dollars that would serve better as food dollars... ldjadfsklaj
Only one funny moment, and that was the discovery of fire, when my creature the Dudesoftian used his extra arms I added as weapons as his weapons, while his actual arms served no purpose... I rarely say this, but "FAIL"

Yeah I felt pretty underwhelmed by Spore, but I was expecting so much more. The Space stage came the closest, but once you play it for a few hours it's just the same old 10 things to do over and fuckin' over again.

I'm playing through Dragon Age and I'm almost overwhelmed at the amount of areas I can visit, but it's pretty linear in terms of what you do when you actually get into an area. So far, at least, I'm only like 10% through.

Good game, tho.

I believe anyone who has touched a game like Oblivion has had that feeling of being overwhelmed. It's great in a sense but man does it make your brain go  :shocking: at times.

he's a bot advertising RETRO GAMES. currently i'm playing through deus ex again with the shifter mod and i've headshotted almost everyone you can kill. you get negative skill points for friends you kill, but if you shoot friendlies until they're low on health they become enemies.

Not really, I don't really play open-world games, and those seem like the ones most likely to "overwhelm" somebody.
