Shut up ATARI no-one asked you.
I never listen to music while I game. i just think it takes something away from the experience. Fallout 3 doesn't have much music for a reason. Unless like, I could find some music that sounds like the end of the world. (MONO & World's End Girlfriend collab'd and it sounded like the end of the world maybe I'll try that)
i think the music that 3dog plays is a really good soundtrack for the game. it's not as emotionally fitting as mark morgan's original soundtrack was for the first two, but most of the songs are ironically appropriate much in the same way the intro songs to the first fallout games were. it can get a little tiresome listening to that, particularly if you have no tolerance whatsoever for 40s pop music, but i found that it very often added to the experience of the game.
it's really ridiculous how appropriate
jack shaindlin's i'm tickled pink is for a heavy gunfight against a dozen supermutants. a couple songs in the 3dog music collection are particularly appropriate when you're doing certain things or are in particular places in the game, i think. i didn't keep it on all the time(brain explode) but i found myself periodically checking to see what he had playing during sections where i knew certain songs would be oddly appropriate. i really fucking hated that danny kaye song about the jungle and left it off a lot just to avoid hearing that song. actually i just fucking hate danny kaye anyway. what a cunt.
i should mention that all this was doubly the case for me because the first thing i did in the game was kill burke and wear his clothes around the remainder of the game. the game really felt like it took place in the apocalyptic 40s for my playthrough of the game.
