this is kinda cool but its a christmas album so i'm not alowwed to like it.

the lyrics were kinda predictable to be honest sorry

but recording + musicianship were perfect as always

what was your concept for this one. Haven't gotten a chance to listen to it yet but I will when I can.

I know flight and falling was way too ambiguous though for sure. When you posted your concept I had no fucking idea when listening to it that you were even aiming anywhere near that or even had a concept.

My guess is that the concept is about a guy, possibly Santa, who is alone on christmas and he kills himself.

Probably wrong, I'm amazingly bad at interpreting lyrics.

i haven't listened to it in depth enough yet so take my previous crits with a pinch of salt, but i'm going to now and see if i can pull out a concept.

btw i think flight+falling was way to ambiguous but i loved to music too much to care about the lyrics. you should make something heavier, more rocky like an album of the aftermath-like tracks. thats my fav

naw work on them lyrics they're important and after you get real good at em it'll make all of your music that much better

yeah i knew flight and falling's concept was super ambiguous. i always considered that concept more of a guiding narrative than something i actually expected to convey. imo though this one is a lot clearer. like... idk man! the titles are the key.

that is actually what we are working on now. an EP and an album are being worked on, both are planned to be heavier and darker than f&f

Ok it's about santa getting depression about christmas
since it's same in same out every year, and while he travels
the world giving kids presents he's all on his own, and people
liking his isn't enough.

his wife is kinda mad at him and herself for getting with him
because of his depression. She didn't know that he would be
like this when she met him blah blah blah get in that kitchen
and make me a sandwich stupid wench

then santa goes on about how he needs to get out of his boring
mundane life. pretty much because he's skint or something. doesn't
he realise he can just get his elves to make his weed?

his reindeer are feeling the troubles because of him and
rudolph obviously gets it bad most of teh time but now
its worse because of santana being shit.

santa runs away/quits his job/commits suicide

its a really good concept actually I thought it was
pretty good and kinda easy to follow once i tried.

did i get it right?
