thank god i can buy the cd keys for just slightly less than actually buying the game, what a good investment

really is there any good reason to buy just a cd key from a shady site instead of spending the extra $5?

because some people really are just that cheap. They'll go through the entire work of downloading a program illegally, but then when they find out they can't play it online, rather than just buying the full game, they decide that they would rather just get a CD because it still saves them 5 dollars and they've already spent all that work getting the game illegally. actually i don't think anyone is this dumb but it was the only reasonable scenario that i could think of.

atari i would agree with you (and i do agree with you that hopefully people aren't this dumb) but i know guys who insisted on pirating everything and thought it was wrong to pay for games for reasons that don't make any sense and they would not pay for cd keys, instead they'd go to walmart, buy the game, take the cd key, then return it (saying it didn't work or something idk they found some way to return it and i'm not sure if that still works anymore)

they would go through ALL OF THIS TROUBLE instead of just buying a damn game, which they apparently had money for to buy it in the first place and return it

this was a good four or five years ago so yeah i don't think it's possible anymore, in fact i didn't think it was possible THEN but maybe it had to do with them claiming it was defective or something

the only place this is still possible is actually walmart. Tried, tested and true. Although not by me so this is still up for debate.

I can't for the life of me buy games so I usually have to pirate. The only game im considering buying is Dragon Age Origins (my 360's firmware doesn't play wave4 and dao is wave4) but gotta save for it. jeez I dunno how people can buy brand new games for 64-94$, that is a full tank of gas for 1-2 weeks. I need a new job
