If you are a fan of this series surely you have heard this rumor more than a dozen times.

The much awaited (or most dreaded for some) remake of the installment that has the biggest fan following. However, according to "Tetsuya Nomura speaks and denies the fabled remake for release anytime soon - however, Cloud may appear in other games..." the rest of the new release can be found under the link below.

So a remake they've constantly denied is still being denied...

Meanwhile Cloud will continue to be a cameo in like every game SE touches..

Exactly what Jester said, but even ignoring this why would it matter at all if the game was remade? If you want to play FF7 then play FF7.

Also Cloud must be the most boring protagonist ever. He has no memory, blindly follows others around, doesn't talk and has no emotions whatsoever. Why do so many people love him as a character?

Yes was disappointed too. I would love to replay that game with a few new plot twists and 360 graphics.

duke nukem 3d is unplayable but would be a decent game if the controls and graphics were updated. by the same measure though if you want a story read a book. video game stories suck, people like the character because they create the character.
