That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

do these kinds of things work in the end? I mean after the whole you signing up for stupid shit and referring others and completing surveys etc, after that, do you end up getting the item? I've been sort of tempted to do something like this

some survey sites do work (like utalkback) and just get by on the fact that most people will forget about it/give up before they get enough points to get anything. i did utalkback surveys for about a year and finally had enough points to get a $50 gamestop giftcard, so yeah it DID work it just took forever since they rarely sent out surveys.

but a random ad from a spambot? nah. you've got to look for ones backed up by the companies themselves (gamestop sent out utalkback emails when it first started). best thing to do is see if anyone online tried them and got their stuff, you can usually do a little research and find out which of these things are legit.

I did the same thing for E-Rewards and ended up with about $100 worth of giftcards in the last year or so. It's not a bad way to get some free shit, but you're right, it does take an awful long time.

My friend went in for something like this and is currently waiting for his free laptop to come in the mail.

If it ever does, I'll let you guys in on the deal because it seemed like a relatively simple process for a rather nice laptop. (after I have mine already on the way of course, I need a new laptop super-bad.)
