They're never going to make a sonic better than sonic 2 or 3+knuckles and you alll know it so if you want to play a 2d sonic similar to 2 or 3+knuckles just play 2 or 3+knuckles

I'm not so much a fan of the art style ( never was ) but if it retains the awesome level design I am so in.

i mean did you see the trailer that shows comparisons? you start with the old sonic sprites from back then and then it changes to needlemouse's 3d sonic and it has the fucking slowest running animation out of all of the sonics shown; it partly destroys the feeling of speed attributed to sonic running

why the hell is it like this?

i cant find any other downs other than the  fact it most likely wont beat old sonics but it might still be enjoyable (granted they keep it retroey enough) in the same way megaman 9 was

but seriously the way this game looks turns me off so much

one time on tv i saw this american Heidi movie (i think heidi is originally a japanese story) but it's just about this girl from the mountains and all and like, it's a classic kid animation movie and it reminded me so much about stuff i saw when i was a wee kid
tbh it was a really charming animation movie and all i thought when i saw it was "even if i have kids in 20 years from now they will see this"

yes it's absolute shit but your little kiddo is gonna go to school and hear about hannah montana 2: electric boogaloo anyway so there's no way to stop them from knowing about it (and probably wanting to see it)

Graphix aside I'm getting this. Those old sonic games on Genesis were part of the reason I (albeit ignorantly) didn't want SNES over Genesis. It was fast, cool, and I played the eff out of it. This looks hopeful. Just no big cut scenes and talking, and we're cookin'. A quiet sonic is a good sonic. Er, more important---a quiet Tails is a good Tails.
Those Sonic Dash games were pretty good, so I have my hopes up that the gameplay will be solid, even if its graphicly unappealing.
