In a world where everyone has wings, the surface of the earth is no more than ocean. On the sky, the people live in floating islands.
In this Sky, there exist some beings with green hair who are able to use magic, and have thus been exiled from the human archipelago to other parts of the sky.
The story begins in the midst of an attack of the Verdian army to the Human capital city, where a young man meets a major who is transporting a special prisoner...

Battle System

The battle system in Vagrant is an active battle system in the style of the zelda series, but with rpg elements. Altough there is a tutorial ingame here's the controls and HUD explanation:

Green Bar - HP - HitPoints
Purple Bar - GP - GuardPoints
Brown Bar - CP - ComboPoints

LeftClick: Slash
RightClick: Guard
MiddleClick: Select an unit to watch it's HUD on the right side of the screen

WASD: Move
Space: Show Skills
Q+LeftClick: Use Kenjustu Ability
Q+MouseWheel: Cycle Kenjustu Abilities

Whenever you take an hit, the HP bar will be depleted, unless you use the RightClick to guard the blow, whereas the damage will be taken by the GP bar.
When the damage taken is higher than the remaining GP, Hp will be lost.
GP regenerates over time.
Majutsu cannot be guarded against.

Its pretty short, but as for the content that was provided it looks kind of odd when someone talks during a cutscene and everything freezes like the flames stop waving back and forth as an example. It was pretty good though I remember playing this a while back and i loved it than and i still like it now.

*Raise*
I played it recently- the plot was OK, I guess, but I'd have preferred to have the option to use the arrow keys instead of WASD  for movement, and I found it hard to juggle the mouse-keyboard combos.
Everyone has the right to be himself; wise men know how to,when, and whether to navigate the boundary between their rights and those of others when they collide.
