I'm not sure what the fighting community is like at GW anymore and haven't really been since the Saikyo Dojo was removed a while ago. So that's why I'm making this topic. Who here has access to some fighters (PC or console) and is interested in some friendly matches?

BlazBlue, Street Fighter 4, and Tekken 6 seem to be the most popular at the moment. I have all three along with Virtua Fighter 5 (which I detest) and Soul Calibur 4, and Battle Fantasia (ugh...) all for the PS3.

Is anyone else into fighters on the PS3? PC would be fine too with Kawaks or whatever, but the novelty of playing arcade fighters on the PC wore off a while ago for me.

As far as my interests are concerned, Tekken 6 is the only fighter I'm probably not rusty at, since I play it for a bit every 2-3 days, so I'd be down for that if anyone's interested.

I have access to everything on PC.

I don't play BlazBlue or Tekken, though.

I want somebody to run some Jojo's Bizarre Adventure with, and 3s.

Edit:

I will also be down to play random fighters online. I am pretty competent in most fighting games, at least I think so.

Feel free to add me on PSN, not on often nowadays but if I get invites I'm usually up for a few matches of SF4 or T6. Maybe SC4 if I go out and buy it again, sold it when the community here in Ottawa died out and online made me rage too hard :/

Edit: o rite, psn tag is rtsdNIGHTMARE

I've been thinking of picking up blazblue but aren't they coming out with another version? Also how is Battle Fantasia?

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is only available in arcades in Japan and no console release date has been given at all.

Battle Fantasia.. I don't know. It plays a bit like BlazBlue or Guilty Gear (since it is by Arc System Works), but it's much slower paced and.. I don't know, kind of bland overall. It's not very interesting, at least to me.

I have Blazblue and I like it, although I prefer playing Continuum Shift on PC (the arcade has been emulated perfectly, granted you have a capable pc)

I also have tekken 6 but its been so long since I played it I practically forgot everything with my dudes so no tekken for me

I play SF4 on PC but I kinda suck. Still willing to play anyone. My Games for Windows LIVE name is the exact same as my forum name.

I've been tempted to get Street Fighter 4 on my PC, but it's still $40 on Steam... And with Super Street Fighter 4 just around the corner.....

Supposedly Rose is going to be much better, which is great news since I used her most. Can't wait for that.

battle fantasia is excellent imho. no one believes me, but there's actually a lot of fun and depth to it! unfortunately the netcode is not very good

it also reminds me of jewpuncher gameplay wise

To my knowledge, SSF4 isn't getting a PC release at all.

That's fine, since I'll be getting it for the PS3.

The reason why I'm reluctant to get the original Street Fighter 4 for PC is because I will be picking up Super Street Fighter 4 when it's out in a few months, and really, spending $60 on the original, $40 on the PC port, and then whatever on an upgraded version would be overkill for me. Street Fighter 4 is good, but not good enough to have justified spending $150 in total or so.

I'd never be able to play Street Fighter 4 in an arcade here. I can only think of one arcade anywhere even remotely close to me, and I would be VERY surprised if they even have Street Fighter 3.

I haven't played in an arcade since, I don't know, whenever Mortal Kombat 2 came out.

I had a Gameworks in Arizona that I went to for SF4, 3s, BB, and T6.

There was a Golfland that had BB, and a little amusement park called Castles & Coasters with T6: BR

Arcade Infinity and Denjin in California were only 5 hours away, so I would travel to them on some weekends.
