I think I'm getting a little better but I still need to learn some defending basics and how to properly find openings.  Because most of the time I try an attack and get raped in the face.

I played that guy too actually. I beat the shit out of him as long as I kept on blocking.

It's like... he has super fucking awesome combo's, yes he does, and if one hit gets through then pretty much everything Rock can pull off gets through. However he couldn't take mind-games for shit so, I Jae Hoon'ed him outta this world. I'd do his JUUSEERA-long-range-sweep-and-then-fire-kick-thing from a distance, and his dive-kick-break-into-fire-overhead-followed-up-with-a-super over and over and he never learned.

Of course he still won 2 outta 3 matches but hey what can you do when he does 3x as much damage as me every time he hits.


Actually now that I think of it I see a lot of guys like this, especially in Last Blade 2. It's like they've been practicing combo's for years but haven't got a clue about tactics. In LB2 a lot of guys can do 50% damage combo's without using supers, so they win the first... 8 matches, but then they keep doing the same stuff over and over so you just keep on punishing them, and they never learn.

Thats because (imo) people don't learn to adapt. They learn some combos and think they are hot shit. They learn professional techniques and think they are hot shit. There is more to just learning combos and doing professional techniques in a fighter. Personally, this is why "random scrubs" seem to do pretty good for a bit. These people expect you to play their way, and when you don't it screws them up until they figure it out and adapt.

A lot of the online people don't seem to do the adapt part though. Espically in MvC.

I won with Roll. 5 times. I'd turtle until they'd do a delaying movie that Roll could robot super into.
