Well here we go.

Plants vs Zombies is a terrific game that doesn't require even modest specs. Enjoy!

I don't know what kind of specs your computer has but the original Left 4 Dead and potentially even Left 4 Dead 2 can run on pretty modest specs if you set the graphics to low. The source engine is a pretty light-weight engine and is relatively untaxing.

Both of these games represent the pinnacle of team-based zombie survival.

Nazi Zombies is a LOT of fun. It's a part of Call Of Duty: World At War.

Dude if his computer can't run L4D well it definitely can't run COD:WAW.

b_t321 you're probably going to want to upgrade your computer if you want to get your zombie fix. On the topic of zombie mods, Counter Strike: Source has a pretty fun zombie mod in doses and that's a pretty old game.

oh, and l4d2 with the graphics down all the way runs perfect, and then occasional framerate attacks

So putting the problem in depth, the screen goes into  a window with surrounding black, flashes to a white screen and.... stubbs.exe has stopped working.. i should also note, before the crash it reverts back to my highest resolution before widescreening

Stubbs doesn't run on ATI cards, if you have one of those.

It just never ran on ATI cards, at all.
