That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

morally that is a completely different situation, as you already had ownership of the watch.  once a gift is given to you, it becomes your property, as in fact, it was a "Gift."

i don't sell or throw out gifts. i often get annoyed when people give me something big.

but yeah man go for it, it's less likely to be seen if you sell it than give it away to a local.

yeah i did that with a pair of gloves. it was really really cold and they had been sitting on a bench all day, so i found a peice of paper and wrote "I HAVE KIDNAPPED YOUR GLOVES. IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN you can just text me at or e-mail at," drew a picture of a glove on the front and left it visibly wedged in the bench.

I think you've made a terrible mistake in stealing that Zune.

I think the proper thing to do would have been to steal an iPod instead.

It's a little rude to ask "who is" regarding someone who has six hundred posts and has been a member for seven years.

Actually, it's a little rude no matter what considering the idiocy of the question and the possible responses.
actually, if he meant it legitimately and not as a jerky-not-actually-question (which nobody ever does) then it's not a rude question. people get namechanges a lot, and its like asking what their other name was.

however yeah nobody ever means it like that and you are right.

Whenever I see a girl in sweatpants I always assume they're menstrating. I've got no reason for this, I just do.
Ugh, me too. Jesus.

I think the funniest part is that he doesn't realize that he is the very moral-less bastard that he was protecting the Zune from in his story by taking it.

He never wanted the guy to have the Zune back. NEVER. Asking his classmates was probably the safest step he could take to ensure he'd keep that precious new Zune, it served the purpose of clearing his concious. He has taken no steps since to give it back and actually is doing the very opposite - he's gloating about it. To be honest, I think that's the reason he started this topic in the first place - to flaunt his douchebaggery. Think about it. It's not hard to operate a fucking Zune. I don't even own one but I know how to google.

I have been in a similar situation where someone left one of those 2nd gen iPod nano's in a locker room at the local community center. I pretty much immediately gave it to the front desk. God it was like second nature. I don't know what ever became of it, but at least I know that if he did come back for it he probably got it.

a group of friends and I hatched a dumb plan to hit up a warehouse for a large dept. store because we knew people who worked there and they'd repeatedly told us that it could be done so easily. It was years ago during a time when I was a really poor student and we sold everything/split the money and I probably paid for a quarter of tuition/books with that.

Stealing shit from stores is A-OK w/me. Not gonna argue, defend, suggest, or advocate it to anyone but I am able to justify it in my own ethical framework.

So you believe in just-stealing... sort of like a robin-hood-esque thing? I guess I can see this. Someone who stole say $20,000 worth of merchandise from say Wal-Mart and somehow funneled it all into noble causes like the Haiti fund or whatever - I could see that being a morally right thing to do.

its not like i donated the money or anything, it was a purely selfish act. but you know what, that shit was made under exploitative circumstances and sold in the US to enrich a company that treated people who I knew like shit(intentionally shorting hours to avoid paying benefits and discouraging legally-entitled breaks typical slimy corporate shit) and I don't give a fuck how much revenue I cost them.  :welp:
