Awww, this is really sad. This is the first I have ever heard of him, and to listen to It's a wonderful life, while contemplating the facts surrounding, brings it all together for me. Such a touching song that epitomizes the situation and helps bridge the gap of non-familiarity that may otherwise inhibit empathy. I think of what this song already means to me, and how inconsequential it must be compared to those who know his music, and knew him as a person.
