Hey!

As the topic implies, how angry have you ever been or are capable of becoming? All my life, I've never raised my fist to anyone out of angry or malice. The most I can become is maby at most annoyed with someone, but never to the point of losing my control and going out like a lunatic. I have been physically slapped in the face in the face for defending a gay guy...oh, true story time!

One time when I was under a gazebo(sp?) and this guy saw one of my friends, who was gay or whatever. He started calling him all types of names, and then began to get in his face as if he was going to attack him. I stood up and got in between both of them, and the guy looked at me like I was out of place or something, I told him he had no right to say such things to someone for who they where and he stood there for a minute as if he couldn't process the thought. A second or so later he raised his hand and slapped me across the face, I just looked back at him with a serious look (if there is such a thing) and stood there saying nothing (although I could feel I was crying). Anyways, some friends told my little brother (who is about 6,1 and heavy set) and he went berserk. He came towards me screaming "WHO WAS IT, TELL ME WHO THE FUCKER WAS" and I just kinda told him to calm down and that everything was ok.

At this point the guy had walked back a few feet looking a bit worried but still smirking from what he did, and thats when my little brother yelled "I'LL KILL YOU" and began rampaging towards the guy, all my friends and others had to hold him back...

That being said, I know my brother well, and know he isnt the one to do that type of drama. When it was all over and the parties had left the scene, we both laughed and I said "I'll kill you? C'mon!".

I have many stories of how I have never ever had to be angry or lash out... I figure life is already messy so why add to it by being angry? I paid for some friends food not too long ago and one of them completely disrespected me by swearing loudly in a restaurant with kids. I told them to be quiet but they just got louder...didn't get angry, jut thought im never going to pay for  food ever again for rude people. Tell me, how often do you get mad, and are you a cool cucumber like me? Is it even needed that we have anger?

The angriest I've ever gotten was my recent reply to TFT... I'll pull it up in a sec

So I said "Have you looked in the mirror lately TFT? You always seem to have a negative attitude about everything but you always hide behind a sarcastic veneer and slack grammatical style."

I've never gotten angry on the outside really. I bottle that shit up.
The angriest I've gotten and shown was probably one time I very sternly asked my roommate "so why am I the only one you rag on for not following his religion to the strictest?" or something like that. I was really angry inside but it just came out as a "dude not cool".

One day I'm going to explode from all this repressed anger
don't mind me, just postin' after a few brewskies

I honestly never overreact or get super angry, maybe the thought of smashing something/someone goes through my head if I'm really really annoyed but I never act on it. It pays alot to stay calm. You save yourself alot of trouble that way. Wasn't it Killer Wolf that said he had real problems with anger?

I get angry all the time when I play games online but that's pretty much it.  I used to be pretty bad when I went to arcades because I got so comfortable around friends that I had no problem swearing at them when I got mad about losing or dropping combos.  although I didn't care too much about swearing whether I was mad or not that's just the way with fighting game crowds you catch this energy and hype and everyone's crazy really.

There was one time that anger actually helped me out.  There was a 40+ man sf4 tournament in Dallas and that was the first kinda big tournament I managed to place top 8 at.  I normally lose to nerves but my first match was against this rose player, and even though he was garbage and playing rose I was just making hella mistakes because I felt "no I better not lose to rose c'mon" and then I knocked him down, went for a cross-up, he got up and did a wake-up ultra and it was hella early.  Rose was facing away from the direction I was going and I treated it like a whiff, tried to land the cross-up to maximize punishment.... then somehow teleported in front of him to get hit with the ultra...  A nearby crowd screamed "SHAMWOW" and all I could think is "hell no, that's the last break this guy is getting, he plays rose he is dying right now"  he got a game on me but I beat him for the whole set and got top 8 hooray.

I get real pissed about to the point of snapping at someone just about every day regarding my job but I think it's because I am very passive aggressive that I am able to control myself. My one regret is that I maintain a very emotionless look on my face regardless of what I feel so it bothers me that people don't understand how pissed I am.

I used to have really bad anger problems. Not so much anymore. I can wear my aggravation on my sleeve, but usually I just keep it inside as not to piss anyone off. Most of job security relies on me playing cool.

I tend to bottle up my anger.  When I'm in public, usually the most I'll do is swear, but I get behind closed doors, I've gotten mad enough to black out.  I never remember what I do when this happens, so I'm going off what people have told me.

That's only happened twice, once in like....  third grade? cam home after getting picked on all day, than my brother continues this after I'm already pissed of, I black out break a lunch box over his head and punch this glass penny jar and shatter it, cutting my hand up, and it was about an inch thick too.  Came to after my parents came home and I was in my room, went downstairs to "Why are you downstairs, your grounded" I asked why, and they threw a huge bitch fit.

The other time was at my last job.  I was pulled off of counter because of a few douchebag customers, and I was having another shitty day, and one of the employees starts whipping me with a wet towel.  After aboout 2 or 3 whips, I grabbed the bun rack and threw it at him.  Missed him, but smashed the rack to pieces.  Came to seconds later, to see the same asshole that was snapping me with the towel cowering in fear in the next room.
