so i recently obtained my AA in general studies. is this thing actually worthwhile? (will i be able to get a better paying job relative to what id make if i didnt have it?) i have no idea where i should be applying that i couldn't when i didn't have any degree. sorry if thats confusing im kinda high

I dunno, you might be looked upon favorably for like a clerical position or low level government jobs. You're basically in the same boat as someone entering their junior year in college, no major no focus etc so internship opportunities are pretty limited.

So yeah, you're not any better off than had you just worked full time those two years. If your goal is a degree in international studies then I think you should start volunteering as much as you can. Get involved with something relating to helping/providing resources to immigrants and refugees.

Stop getting high if you are job hunting. Getting a job offer retracted due to pissing dirty on a UA is horrible.

i have been getting by with awful paying jobs/no hours because i get social security money every month as long as i'm in school full time and under 24 (rip dad..). unfortunately when i transfer i am gonna have to get an apartment so i was hoping to actually be able to find something better than HIGH SCHOOL ENTRY LEVEL jobs. i knew AA's were virtually worthless but...theyve gotta be good for something :'(

You could start selling weed, I imagine that shouldn't be too hard to do on a college campus. I lived with a dude who waited tables and did that, he constantly had wads of cash all the time.

some kids that went to my school are from the east coast and are driving back for the summer. a couple bought like one or two ounces and are driving them back to boston area... you can buy 10 dollar grams in denver, drive to boston, and sell them for about 25$ a gram, or about 85$ for an eighth. that is over doubling your profit! and apparently it will sell like hot cakes if it is true chronic.

yeah what the fuck are you talking about? a BA degree is definitely still a worthy investment. only certain postgrad degrees are worthwhile though some are a waste at least if we are talking in terms of salary.

well an eighth is roughly three and a half grams, and if you're working with decent product then that's pretty normal considering people are buying the same strains out of dispensaries* for more like 50 an eighth
