I wasn't actually being serious when I made that comment. (but I like how you ignored the whole anime porn bit.)

you were right, so there wasn't really a need to reply to it. i could have said "you're right" or "true", but i think you knew yourself that you were right, because if you didn't think you were right then you would have thought you had no right to post that

so in short, you're right

but whatever, the internet will never change

My dream is that the next GW will have credit card based identification to force everybody use their real name.

yeah because that would make a huge difference. whether your name is "Marge" or "Maria Johnson", people aren't gonna act any different

yeah, honestly. like gaming world would even pop up in google. but aside from that, i'm not worried. my name is not anywhere on this website, or anywhere else. we've been warned about that plenty on school, and i'm actually pretty careful about that. sure, you can google my name, but the only thing you'll find is other people who share my name.

that's what he's saying though, if you were forced to use your real name you might NOT act the fool

As long as there's no photo or any other information to link it to, it's still harmless. But that's also my point; people tend to act that way on the internet because it's anonymous. It would become pointless if everyone on the internet could be identified by name and information.

Uh, this is also Marge's point!  Idk why you are acting like you are making a different point because this is exactly what Marge was saying.

yeah the difference lies in the additional information. there's no meaning in just a name, even if it's real. like i said a few posts ago, googling my name only results in finding other people.

that depends on the person. like I've got the same name as a president's kid so I'm safe, but people like my sister almost have the whole first page dedicated to them

well, if you have a common name, if you're careful you won't be found easily on the internet. but if you're a person who happily fills out their myspace and facebook pages with personal information, it gets a lot easier.
