Lori, make a transfer and get rid of Rio Ferdinand. He's not playing in the world cup because of a broken leg. Replace him with a frenchie or something.

Can someone explain transfers for me, i.e. how many you can do per time period or whatever. Are we stuck with who we have for the group stages? If we transfer people out do we lose points or w/e?

The premiership one made so much more sense.

I'll tell you after the Brazil game because Robinho was brought in after Aguero didn't play for Argentina.

Can we mention how ridiculous the England squad is though? Everything was in build up for the world cup and as soon as we start playing everything is terrible. We have an unfit, injury laden squad, where Ledley King who was such an injury scare he couldn't play football with his children in the garden, was kept in the squad anyway - played 45 minutes and is now out of the world cup. Ashley Cole has an ankle injury and can't do full training, Rooney keeps having knocks and bangs and stopping training, Milner is unfit, Carragher is slow and unfit, Barry is coming in from injury and will probably be unfit/not used to playing 90 minutes in SA heat.

Unless something significant comes from the next two games, this tournament is going to be a disaster as soon as we leave the group stages. We can't keep possession, rush with the ball and our forwards don't gel enough to actually score goals. Just hoping so much that Capello comes out with a new tactic against Algeria.

Right now we can make 15 transfers in this current game stage. You don't lose any points for transferring players out who have given you points already. So, it might be a good strategy to switch a player that has already played with someone that is going to be playing next for more opportunity to win points. You can always transfer back to the original player you had later. (Although this will cost you 2 transfers in total).

DPRK all the way

The world's most sympathetic 8 man defence line. Also officially the only time I've seen my girlfriend get excited about sports.

i don't think we have to worry too much about getting out the group stages, as our next two matches are pretty much SURE WINS. mind i say that and i have not been more surprised by a world cup before! complete underdog teams have been playing exceptionally and often at a much higher standard than the favourites to win. its true england aren't all up to scratch but i don't think its ALL OVER for us. or i hope not anyway.
