I'm continuing Raimond Ex, so give me ideas! In the original one you had to get your brother to a doctor that lives in the other side of the level which you can't go to because there is a candle in the way.

Post some other cute problems like that. Post anything you imagine in this topic.

I think you should just rehash the same scenario over and over but with different 'dressings' so to speak.
Ex: Your brother has been mugged, you must get him to the police officer that lives in the other side of the level which you can't get to because there is a cat in the way.
Your sister wants a job, you must get her to the fast food restaurant that lives in the other side of the level which you can't get to because there is an atheist in the way.

I could make a script to randomly generate these scenarios for you if you want.
don't mind me, just postin' after a few brewskies
somebody’s Barkley --- could be another’s Monopolo.

No, that's boring as hell

But you can make a script to generate random scenarios, something like

{x} wants to {y} but {problem you have to solve}

Do it! I think it's an interesting idea. You could make a game that always have a different plot, whenever you run it. I like that

Dude, a candle is no threat- you could simply kick it over and proceed. If you're going to have an obstacle, make it something that would really be a problem, like a rock, or a ravine, or rabid grizzly bears. For example, you're taking your badly injured brother to the hospital but you must avoid the hostile organ thieves who want to dismember him and sell his parts on the black market.

You'd think a candle is no threat but they're nuclear candles

Should be one heck of a weird game if you actually put some of this stuff in, not that its a bad thing mind you.
How about this one then:

He wants to make a sandwitch but finds that a Alascan Tobasco Tree has sprouted in front of his refrigirator, the only way to remove the tree is to sprincle it with 8 different types of grated cheese. He must now travel the world in search of said cheese.

*brain implodes*

How about being a resistance fighter who must get into the powder magazine to get some nuclear candles to blow up the enemy but there are rat guards in the way? Rabid rat guards with suppurating, pus-filled faces.

A scientist believes that he may have found the cure for cancer, but in order to test it, he needs to produce a larger batch of anti cancer serum. One ingredient is only found in a cave. But the enterence to the cave has been blocked by a sleeping fat man. You have to find some way to wake him up in order to go into the cave and get the ingredient so the scientist can cure cancer.

A man is trying to get laid.

However, he is surrounded by fatties. He must pound down beers for her to look good. Problem is, it's 1:55 and the bar closes at 2:00.

Fight your way through the lines of drunken patrons and get to that drink and score the fatty!

I think something like that's been done with a Snorlax.
