First, I need someone to fix the bug. I wonder if I can attach the game in an email to someone that can, and then he can upload the fixed version?

It is possible that he's waiting this long to mention his already previously completed game in an attempt to somehow show up those people who may have claimed that he hasn't completed anything, though by not being able to post screenshots until a bug is fixed (what?), I have my doubts that he is speaking the truth of this game and is only using lies to try to pick himself up out of a hole that he believes he has forced himself into.

The bug is that after the cutscene after the second boss, the character is supposed to disappear, but he doesn't because his path is blocked, and the game hangs. A simple change in his script will change that, but I can't.

The name of that RPG Maker VX project was Lironus Chronicles. Since I could only access a quarter of the game due to the bug, these are the only screenshots I could take.

So basically your design process (the bulk of what you're in charge of yourself) consists of making maps that are horribly non-organic?

Why would a guy just be standing in a room with nothing in it but a few outfits standing behind him?  Why does there seem to be a hedge maze that's really...more of just...a...hedge.  You've got a cave that seems to be nothing but narrow passageways that trail around aimlessly for the sake of being a dungeon.  There are lamps there, why didn't whoever put them up make a tunnel through the sides near the entrance and just walk straight through?  That was kind of a weird example but from what I can see in the screenshot it seems like one of those dungeons that are just there to be a dungeon, and that doesn't feel right at all.  Before you ask someone to do your work for you because you'll be doing the design, maybe you should work on your design first and try to design something that actually feels like it could be real.

The bottom line is that you won't be able to recruit anyone without some kind of portfolio or a reputation, and so far you're down on both accounts.

Yes, I shall concede that you indeed took my last post and busted my chops on it fairly aptly.

But there is one thing I'll never concede: Which is, all it takes for anyone to become a designer is to have the opinion that you are a designer already. Did I say that it would make you a good designer? I think not. (a bad design still has to come from a designer, it's the only place it can come from)

I'm not trying to devalue the craft by saying this, since there are enough people out there who already do that with their designs. But the fact still remains that anyone can be a designer just like anyone can be a chef. (if you don't like that metaphor either, you can shove it up your ass for all I care)

Because time was limited in my production of Lironus Chronicles, I used the random dungeon generator to create the basic shape of my dungeons, then modified them as I saw fit. And I'm not very good at deciding where to take the best screenshots, as I'm not a screenshot-taker.

Now WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIX THAT BUG!?

Theres a ton of free hosting sites, but I suppose http://rpgmaker.net/ would be a good place to put your game.

There isn't any "Submissions" button on that site.
