The ApprenticeName: Rollard
Appearance:
http://lancelotgeass.deviantart.com/art/Rollard-Character-Design-169430767Bio: Lived on the streets of a magical city as an orphaned boy until he was found by the adventurer Leonis and taken to Solaryn's tower. He has since grown up to be a promising apprentice to the powerful wizard. Now he finds himself in the grand city of San Lironus 700 years in the future, and has gotten himself into quite a mess. Rollard is the only character that can use magic. He learns new spells by recovering lost spell tomes scattered throughout the city. Rollard fights with staves and wands, which unfortunately aren't exactly common in an era that doesn't believe in magic.
Personality: Rollard is rather naive and gullible, as he knows nothing of the time period he ended up in, but he slowly wisens up as the story progresses. He shows little concern for anything that doesn't have to do with himself, the spell tomes, or Sammael. He is only following along with the crew because they help him reach his goals.

The EngineerName: Jack Craft
Bio: A young man studying to become an engineer at the San Lironus University of Technology. He tinkers with spare parts in his free time and has invented some useful personal gadgets, including a special pair of shoes with wheels in the soles. He is the first person that Rollard befriends in this era, and over time his apartment turns into the team's base of operations. Jack has no preference for any particular type of weapon, and will use almost anything. He can create his own items by tinkering with spare parts. Unlike the other player characters, Jack's stats can be allocated as the player sees fit each time he levels up.
Personality: Jack shows much more sympathy for others than the apprentice. He has a strong sense of justice, one that isn't twisted and perverted like the government's. He came to help Rollard because he couldn't stand seeing a helpless man be beaten. He wants to reform the government, even if it means overthrowing it by force, though given the choice he would rather not choose violence.

The NurseName: Clara Gauzman
Bio: A nurse working at San Lironus Central Hospital, or at least she was until she was fired for prying into the origins of a viral outbreak. She joins Rollard's team when they save her from a library set ablaze by an arsonist, and brings her medical equipment with her. Clara carries a medical kit full of medicines that can boost her allies' abilities and allow them to recover from injuries and illnesses, and uses surgical equipment as weaponry: scalpels, bonesaws, lasers, poison-filled syringes, and the like.
Personality: Clara became a nurse because she wanted to help people. She is not one to hold grudges, so much so that she doesn't hesitate to forgive someone for wronging her. She is always looking after the well-being of her friends like an overcaring mother, which comes off as annoying to some of them, but she means well.

The GangsterName: Mak Sekker
Bio: The leader of a notorious gang of rebels, known for their propensity for violence. They have ambitions to overthrow the mayor and his goons and establish their own anarchy. Rollard and Mak get off on the wrong foot when his subordinates randomly attack the apprentice, but after he is defeated in a fair fight he realizes that he could use Rollard as an ally to further his gang's goals. Max is incredibly strong and prefers melee weapons such as knives, chains, bats, tire irons, and brass knuckles.
Personality: Mak is an anarchist that wants to see nothing less than the downfall of society itself. Since Jack's mission involves fighting a lot of authority figures, Mak has joined up with him because they share a common enemy. Mak does not respect Jack's leadership position, and often tries to impose his own authority on the P Cs with his tough-guy demeanor. It takes someone else to get him to know his place, at least for a while.

The GamblerName: "Lucky"
Bio: His real name is Chip Diaz, but he prefers to go by the alias "Lucky" for more reasons than one. He is a professional gambler easily identified by his flashy gold-trimmed suit, gelled-back hair, sunglasses, dice necklace, and a four-leaf clover on his lapel. While gambling is illegal in San Lironus, there is a government-run lottery that's really a front for the mayor to raise more money, as no citizen ever gets the winning ticket. When Lucky managed to cheat the system and get the winning lottery ticket, the governing officials didn't hold up their end of the bargain and issued a warrant for his arrest. Lucky fled from the eye of the government and now participates in the illegal underground casinos run by the mafia. He has recently been on a bad losing streak, and owes the mafia a very large sum of money.
Personality: Chip tends to have a much more laid-back attitude than the rest. He maintains a cool head even during crises, although sometimes it's hard to tell how he's feeling with those sunglasses he's always wearing. He is a compulsive gambler, and will place bets at the drop of a hat. True to his nickname, he does have strings of good luck, but that also means that his bad luck streaks are even worse that the average person's. He is also rather paranoid at times because of the large gambling debt he owes to the mafia.

The Fire ChiefName: Corona Blase
Bio: Chief of the San Lironus Fire Department. She initially appears early on to battle the fires in the library, and later decides to help Rollard's cause against the mayor. She is highly resistant to fire thanks to her line of work, and can wear the heaviest armor of any of the player characters. She brings a fireman's axe into battle, and can use high-power fire hoses as harmful weapons. She later allows Rollard and his team to ride around the city in one of her fire trucks.
Personality: Corona is a rather large but shapely woman, and the firefighting armor she wears makes her look even bigger. She feels that the fire department is underpaid, even though everyone from doctors to janitors get paid the exact same wages in San Lironus. Despite being part of the system that Jack is against, she is willing to help him with his mission since she has some access to the inside.

The SoldierName: Lt. Erick Ballisto
Bio: An infantryman in San Lironus' local militia, which is currently investigating the possibility that the city may currently be occupied by a battalion belonging to rival country Granbrom. When he was out in the field, he was accused of committing a heinous war crime, and has since been dishonorably discharged. He now joins Jack's crew as he seeks the truth of what had really happened on that fateful day. Ballisto is a firearms expert, and wields all the big guns in the game, from rifles to rocket launchers.
Personality: Erick was framed for a war crime that he didn't commit, and after being stripped of his rank he began to realize the corruption that exists within the system. He has obtained information that Granbrom is planning to invade the cities, and has been trying to prevent this from happening, using Jack's crew to help him achieve this. He is rather tough on his allies, but only because he thinks of himself as like a father to the P Cs. He is the only man big enough to intimidate Mak.

The PsychokineticName: Darcy Ravenheim
Bio: A black-haired girl found in the slums on the outskirts of San Lironus, who proves herself useful to the group when she defeats a band of violent thugs chasing them without even touching them. Darcy is mute, but she can communicate with others with her mind. She can manipulate matter with her mind as well, and even see a short ways into the future. She is the only character more powerful with her special abilities than Rollard is with his magic.
Personality: Darcy does not speak at all, but those around her will hear a woman's voice in their mind. This voice is usually monotone and sometimes cryptic, and one gets the impression that her inability to speak was caused by some traumatic event. She does not gesture her feelings with body language, appearing almost catatonic on the outside, though she is really quite lucid.

The AgentName: "Agent Viper"
Bio: His real identity is considered classified information. This mysterious man drops in on Rollard's group when they find themselves in another spot of trouble and insists that he join them. His true motives remain elusive; he may or may not be a government spy. He is armed with top-secret technology that makes him extremely dangerous in combat and useful outside of combat.
Personality: Viper is mostly quiet and secretive due to being on a highly secretive mission. When he does talk he is very terse and does not waste words, and will often give out instructions without any explanation as to why one should do such a thing, much to Jack's frustration. Whenever he is confronted as to his motives, he simply states that it would be in everyone's best interest that he continue to follow them.
