I finally got Hotfile to work, but when I tried to upload my file, my computer suddenly became unresponsive for a while, then the page refreshed. What's going on?

Im going to give you the benifit of the doubt and assume that you really do have some sort of weird browser/connection problem.

My suggestion is this. Throw your game onto a cd or pendrive and go somewhere with a regular connection, then upload your game from there. You can also try a different browser like Firefox since you seem to be having problems with your current IE configuration.

Look, if my game was bad, why would I be going through all this trouble to try to upload it?

I believe that I can answer this.

*clears throat*

You are going through "all this trouble" to upload your game because you believe that by doing so people will flock towards you to assist you with it and perhaps prove others wrong who may be implying that you are unable to create even a basic game. All in all, I believe that you feel your game is somehow grand enough to invoke such a strong driving force, though the true merit of your efforts will soon be judged and taken into consideration accordingly.

I found another version of my game on my computer where I actually did fix that error, only to find a couple more problems later on. I know what to do now, though, so I have nothing more to say to you. I'll post another topic when I have the actual game uploaded to the internet and ready to go.

One does wonder how someone who can't solve their own uploading problem planned to manage a team of 3+ people on a project...

Don't forget to zip the game folder. The internet does not like folders.
