^ is just X multiplied by X, N times... you can make it into a function with a loop if you really need it....
"the way you speak about rm2k3, like "modules, arrays, pointers" sounds like
you're some badass c++ programmer stuck in the past and only has rm2k3 to
work with"

For the record, I knew why there WAS a bed in the dungeon. I just didn't understand why you could sleep in it.

Because it's a bed. There doesn't need to be any further explanation. It doesn't matter the age/condition of the bed or who it may belong to (final boss' bedroom??), the fact of the matter is it's there and free to the public, sort of like EVERY treasure chest in every RPG ever made. It could be in someone's house, the middle of a dungeon, or floating in the ocean: You see it, it's YOURS!

Literally the first thing I did when I was given control of the character was try the bed. Right before that he said he wanted to get out of the dungeon NOW. That's inconsistency he should have said something along the lines of "I'm plenty rested, thank you." Also most beds in most RPGs do not allow you to sleep in them.

Where are the screenshots? Not downloading without screenshots, sorry.

There isn't even any in your other topic. All I see is battlesystem.txt.

Smaller maps, brah. Start small and add. Don't start with a big chunk of deadspace and try to fill it. Bad for the feng shui. Or however you spell it.

Shouldn't they have just locked this topic from the beginning? What happened to the stickied rules?
