Hello there! I just had a question regarding Cherry's Hyper patcher v1. I've wanted to change the location of my title screen menu for some time now, and finally gave this a download to check it out. However, whenever I choose the path to my RPG_RT.EXE it gives me the error

"Unbekannte RPG_RT.EXE!"

Which I'm guessing means that it's unusable. However, even the Rm2k RPG_RT's I used it on did not work. I was just wondering if this patch is ONLY for rm2k, or if it's not working because my game isn't the german 2k3 version or something like that.

I'm not sure but I recall using v2, have you tried that?

Yeah, and that one worked I believe. Version 2 however doesn't have the menu positioning feature

If you like I could send you my super RPG_RT.exe that has pic pointer patch + auto enter patch (lets you do a custom title screen) + 126 pic limit + variables go up to 999999999 in value.

You sure? Because with a custom title screen you could pretty much do exactly that with an incredibly simple cms (could even make it look like the default title screen).

Yes, it worked. I had to re hack the rpg_rt file obviously, (and replace the exfont and icon again) but now the menu is where I want it. Thanks! You also provided the DreaMaker link that helped me out a lot too.

Ultimate has nothing to do with Hyper Patcher.

By the way: Hyper Patcher 1 has DIFFERENT FEATURES than Hyper Patcher 2!

Hyper Patcher 2 should finally get all those features of version 1 plus more, but I cancelled the project before that was possible.
