So this is a general topic about Civ 5.. What you lik about it, what you hateand whatever.

So I just played my first game in Prince difficulty, I picked random and generally has no idea what to do even though I finished the tutorials.

I defeated 2 city states to take control of their resources and just found out that rome is next to a major island connected with a small strip of land.

I got to Renaissance and Ceasar asked me for open borders I agreed, I was suspicious, I've been watching his continent seeing that he allies cs's but then eventually conquers them.

So when these roman soldiers approach my land, I prepared defense forces just in case. And Look I was right, he declared war upon me and I shoved him off.

It was a bad sign for me to have him as enemy, I was so inferior tech-wise and unit-count-wise, also my eceonomy is failing! happiness and gold frequently goes to negative, I really don't know how to earn money.

I destroed one of his cities which is very near me and proceeded to build a fort in  the small strip of land - then planting musketeersin the place. Every turn enemy units march into the fort hill just to die. I'm not sure why but it is literally every tun, he produces many enemy units to death.

Then his musketeers became Riflemen, I'm lucky my heroic musketeers were upgraded so much and has a Great general with them they easily fended the romans off.

Then he upgraded to more modern units, I was annihilated. I didn't continue because I fail in every aspect of the game. So sad.
