I share my internet with 2 other computers. One of them, is on youtube 24/7. Because of this when I play online games, my ping is always fluctuating from 80 (normal) to 150-400.  Is there anyway I can limit everyones upload/download rate so that I won't be lagging all the time? Can I do this through my router settings or do I need a program? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if you have a router that can run dd-wrt or tomato firmwares, then you can manipulate bandwidth priority with QoS

I've previously used NetLimiter which does a pretty good job. Googling "bandwidth shaper" etc will bring up a myriad of programs that it also. Hope that helps. :)
"the way you speak about rm2k3, like "modules, arrays, pointers" sounds like
you're some badass c++ programmer stuck in the past and only has rm2k3 to
work with"

Thanks Vanit im gonna try NetLimiter Pro see if that gives me the results I need. The freeware version is nothing but a monitor :/ .
Thanks for trying to help me DietCoke but I am a noob so Im not sure what to do with QoS. Tomato firmware sounded funny though.
