Post everything about your high school years. The drama, etc.

I'll start. I never took part in any of the dramas and it sucked in general.
Play Raimond Ex (if you haven't already)

I'll not TAKE ANYTHING you write like this seriously because it looks dumb

I remember in high school playing Castlevania Circle of the Moon while waiting for this video production class to end and we had Bryce on the computers and some guy was obsessed with Bryce and I played a couple of games on there and the teacher had a speech impediment because he was a race car driver who had an unfortunate accident forced to give up his lifes dream and teach bratty high school kids (after the great b-ball purge). I also heard about 9/11 the first time at the same class

I'm not sure if he really was a professional racer or just was some stupid drag racing accident I thought there was the connotation that he couldn't race anymore whatever happened to him

I didn't participate in any high school musicals until grade 12. It was one of the highlights of my highschool experience. I wish I would have done it earlier. (Although Grease and My Lady would have been craptastic. Les Miserables, on the other hand, was awesome!)

i'm still in high school, lolololol; i'm a junior now! :D
basically, my high school life is all about being an overachiever (5 AP classes this year but still maintaining a 4.00 GPA~ :D ) and participating in the musicals/plays. but i also make time for lots of tabletop/video games, parties, drugs, etc... all that fun stuff. hah :P my high school years have been an odd blend of academics, depression/anxiety, and fun. kind of a crappy time overall, but this year has been pretty good. yaaaay
semper games.

I only finished High School last year, so yeah. I was pretty much in between the geek group and the rest of the school because the geeks were the only ones who were into what I was into. Most of them were assholes though so I don't really call them my friends though.

Met my current girlfriend there, grew eight inches in five months there, along with a bunch of other things. Discovered RPGMaker in my first year there, which is when I joined GW originally.

In general it was pretty damn good and I had some fantastic teachers.

Oh and last year in my English class we had pizza every Friday just because we could.

So yeah, pretty good.

In general I cruised through school so I guess that's bad but also incredibly good because my life is still going someplace despite almost failing NCEA three years in a row (NCEA is New Zealand's shitty education system).

yeah i was a total fucking recluse. I hung around with people, sure, but i was never kinda TOO close to them, GW'ers where my friends, and I spent yonks on like Second Life with Misty Meadows and Pilla(who is still my closest friend). I prettymuch dont speak to any realworld people I knew back from then. It was a fun game of cat and mouse with the it technicians though as they'd block gw and irc, so i'd have to find other ways to get on here. My freetime was spent playing iron maiden or judas priest stuff on my guitar, before discovering Zappa and such towrds the end. Transformers obsession was beyond a joke, even though i did end up trolling it more than seriousness, but I had a lot of them for sure.

I was a pretty metalhead dweeby nerdy kinda guy. Now I am kinda aware that my Kaworu-ness is due to mental illness, but I'm still so fucking embarassed by how I was back then. Though I spend all my time listening to Hawkwind/Acid Mothers Temple, and reading Grant Morrison or Jack Kirby comics now, so...

Jack Kirby is the biggest name in comics, and beyond. One of the key defining forces in 20th century culture.
In the past two years, I've gotten quite obsessed, but in reading his stuff and reading about it, it's like almost everything that's come from america since the late 40's is so heavily influenced by that one guy. Even like Lady Gaga's wardrobe is so fucking Kirby.
Like, All the designers and artists and writers and whatever, grew up in a world populated by his comics, his cartoons etc etc. So we get this bizare thing where everything from Frank Zappa, to Star Wars, to chick flicks (yeah, Kirby even popularised 'romance comics', he was a true virtuoso) is heavily based on what he did.

I really regret spending so much time online rather than with other people. But then, I had no idea what everyone else did while they weren't in class. Did they go to the mall? I can't imagine anything that is worth doing when you're like 14 or 16. Studying? What is the point of that when you're in high school? No thanks. I think I'm actually glad I spent my time in internet forums rather than doing stupid things like studying or drugs, I only regret that I never learned how to be social. I regret I've let my dad decide the way lived my life.

Highschool was odd, there were times I was a rockstar and times I was a lonely douchebag.

I used to have more "GW friends", no I rarely talk with Rody and Ragnar. :/

GW Has and Will still Change my life In real life. I've met some AMAZING folks through these forums. and if it wasn't the company I met on these forums and Epiphany Gaming I would never have gotten so influenced by different musics and So submersed in Art and a forum community and a sense of Belonging, even if its with the bunch of halfling trolls we are.

Playing Soldat back in the day,  Playing hours upon hours of like 3 different fighter games with the #Capcom crew.  The point where MY SUGGESTION for the Hex codes for the colors for grouping names, started a huge thread and changed (and temporarily offered) A wide variety of colors such as the 3 premiums(+ pink for Flower child), mode, global and Admin!

when i was a lot younger my friends and I used to put big sticks or logs in the middle of the road so cars would have to stop and turn around to go home because the neighborhood's main road was a big 3mile loop

sometimes pissed off dudes would chase us but we would run into the trails.
