No she's still going on, her show started like early 2000s.  She's a Food Network personality that makes Southern dishes that nobody would ever actually eat.  Like this hamburger with donuts and fried eggs and bacon.

ignore the actual ingredients and that's still a pretty gross video, how she licks her hand before picking up the burger and handing it to her cooking area companion, or how she takes a bite of the burger and briefly turns towards the camera with her mouth open in a weird unnatural triangle shape, presenting partially chewed hamburger between her lips, making this god damn sound I don't even wanna call a grunt. I did not need to see this before going to bed.

earlchip there's a clip of when Paula Deen was a guest star on Ellen.  I was going to write a big post describing what happens but I'm just going to link it instead.  I guess she was trying to be funny??? But she cooks like this all the time and it's so gross.  If I own a restaurant, I wouldn't want to give people the idea that this is how things are made at the restaurant.  By the way I've eaten at her restaurant and it was disgusting, everything tasted like it was coated in butter (it probably was) to the point where you couldn't actually taste what you were eating.  The chicken tasted just like the rice just like everything else.  During the busy parts of the day people wait in a huge line outside of this place to get in just to eat bland buttered bullshit.
