stay classy bbc!!!! super work!! the uneducated amoung you may think that the opening video shows a man with cerebral palsy being pulled out of his wheelchair and dragged across the street by a pair of police officers but those who were paying attention to the plummy, nasal drawl of the interviewer know that it merely appears to show a man with cerebral palsy being pulled out of his wheelchair and dragged across the street by a pair of police officers, since obviously the possibilities of impromptu street performance and/or cunning video editing software have not yet been ruled out and it is important to stay balanced on such matters!! he may have been "wheeling towards them", after all. maybe he was shouting! we just don't know.

That guy's a friend of a friend of mine I think

there is so much excellent film stuff just sitting around. i have an exam in a couple of days, and I want to get an A so I have been studying pretty hard the last few days but I wish I had more time because I am absorbing all of this and it's kind of overwhelming! yes i had 12 weeks to absorb each part. i'll be better about that next time. but after this exam is over i'm keeping my head deep in within this sand.

andy rooney seems to have similar views as my parents about art.
I'm always having to defend contemporary art to people and it sucks because they just don't get it (and the stuff he's complaining about isn't even contemporary anymore!). Like there's this assumption that art has to have this well skilled technique and anything which isnt, is something 'my kids could do'. YAHGGHAGHAGHAGH shut up gramps and go hang yourself, you don't belong in this century (or even last century if you dont get picasso's sculptures)

andy rooney is one of my favorite people to watch ever.

my favorite segments of his are the one where he reads the ingredients off of the backs of food boxes and the one where he just lists different town names.  you gotta watch the videos because text doesn't do him justice.  i'm not 100% sure he's aware he's being filmed.

also when i said "the one" in both of those cases i believe he's done those segments twice.  i know he's done two on ingredients, and i believe there was one on street names which is almost the same as city names.
