Whats up guys, don't know if anyone remembers me but I just uploaded a video to my youtube account and I wanted to see if I can get some feedback here.

I'm trying to be more productive with my video stuff so I'll try to be uploading more stuff on a regular basis. Check it out.

You posted the same video twice. I'm not sure if you meant to post that one but is it just me or does that flow remind me of Racks on Racks?

I listened to a few and I think the one I liked the most was They Sold Out of Scooters. I think that sometimes the songs can sound too busy at the high end (I'm guessing about 10-12kHz) though. I can see how it's stylistic but it's a lot better on the songs where it's more metered. Similarly, sometimes the distortion on the vocals makes the words inaudible. Sounds like you're hiding your voice, which is unfortunate. The vocal style in Scooter is good and you do a solid job emphasising the unusual rhyme structures. The Skylines Falling is another good number but again could benefit from a cut on the distortion and reverb. Maybe putting a gate on your reverbs could be something to play with? Overall, though, I think this is some mad interesting stuff.

hey biggles, I've gotten a lot of those comments about my music, i think the most prevalent one was the distortion getting in the way too much, so i know if i ever make some more songs i'll try to dial it down a lot. i really don't know much about compressors or gates or even equalizing, i use some cheap headphones so its hard to kind of figure out what they really sound like. but music has always been a every once in a while hobby for me. these songs were put together over two years with not a spectacular amount of effort. just everyonce in a while i'd write something or make a beat. glad you like some of them and thanks for listening! :)

also have some new videos uploaded if anyone interested in critiquing or w/e: http://www.youtube.com/jumar1987
