The SaltW Troubadours (Formally GW Troubadours)

Band Spankin' New!
Ok So there has been discussion but no real decision in Here about the next Troubs album.
There was some talk on IRC today between Me n Geodude (and others input), and we have decided to front up and Start the next Troubs album, Under the New name
'SaltW Troubadours' . And to commemorate such name change I made a new Logo for our musical Group.

We also decided that this Album will be Titled, Band Spankin' New!. The Reason being? To comemorate the change and to invite some new people to come in on the album along with our usual members.

The Theme/Topic of this Album? Well its simple.. ANYTHING!

The only Restriction/Rule is, that the songs submitted MUST be a MINIMUM of 1 minute!
(And obviously No Stealing of material unless its sampling. If its use of another member, give credit)

Send your submissions to Me/Geodude as we will be managing and Maintaining the Album.
Sadly there is no SWRadio, but we will still have a release on the forums and see about a way to live broadcast it!

I'd Say lets give it till End of February for Submission Deadline. Gives you a bit less than 2 months.

Yeah, Having the Theme be ANYTHING really broadens the spectrum on what we can look forward to hearing!

I want to do something for this, I might try to freestyle something for exactly one minute and see how it turns out.

I finished mine, only think I don't like about it is that I don't have one of those covers for my mic so it phases in and out alot. Dunno how to fix that, its not that bad though.

Just Got it. I like it actually.
And You mean a pop screen. These can be made with a embroidery hoop and some pantyhose. It basically silences the harshness of your 'p' 'c' 'q' 'z' etc type of sounds.
Some equalization methods may decrease the pop sound a bit and clarify your voice.. but it wont fully remove the issue.

finished an instrumental track just now. I'm Goin to make an Instrumental and a full song with lyrics as contributions to the album for now, maybe more who knows.
but as of now 1/2 is done!
