russian meme

that's cool, and that blog is actually really good

AAA LOOK surreal alternate history cryptoarchaeological euphoria http://riowang.blogspot.com/2009/05/in-velox-libertas.html it's the deer with tusks/max headroom show all over again!!! I'm gonna hurl!!

recently I learned of the dandy horse & was like ya okay I can see people doing that, but this is tomb raider level cuts. actually it's spoiler but it's still really good. save that link and open it next time you wake up

edit: capture the essence of tusk deer

gah I just watched the trailer for Small Soldiers and clips from Big Bad Beetleborgs. How does each and every 90's kids show/movie capture this perfect image of SUBURBIA like probably it was all filmed in California somewhere so a certain uniformity but jesus am I just exaggerating or did they have down this perfect imagery of CHILD'S WORLD like everybody's house seems immense and larger than life (um this might be because action figure-based movie but still I remember this for lots of movies/tv shows) like how house/school/room is kind of the center of your universe as a kid. Maybe 00's kids aren't as much like this because internet just randomly talking to Finnish people like oh hai guys worldview is smartphone/internet/bulletin boards. Even in horrible movies/boring commercials there was so much PROMISE fuck I think I was seeing differently literally not figuratively for a second. Even the rhythms of everything seem different in movies now ragnarmusic just trying to recapture the rhythm of 90's toy commercials/early CGI where every frame cost like 10 billion dollars. Fuck the 00's sure real advances in technology/medicine happened/spontaneous revolutions in Middle East/things that actually affect people but what really needs to happen is to capture rhythms/tones/angles/etc. of 90's again

man it's weird that South Park was 90's that doesn't really seem to fit

but yeah I'm seriously considering maybe through Youtube/tag sales compiling a mixtape of like 1997 in TV/movies/commercials, do some research on Wikipedia 'shit that happened in 1997' and try to figure out the time period like as an adult where you relate movies etc. as a reflection/reaction to real world events. Also on the flipside go to an elementary school for a day now in 2012 and be like hi yeah can I just sit in the back and listen to lessons/aesthetics of educational materials

on the other hand the 00's was probably the ultimate decade to be a kid in. Can you imagine how much 20 superhero movies a week would blow your mind as a kid with no filter for whether the movie actually sucks or not just get lost in the aesthetics/special effects. And terrorism/the news is hopefully just kind of in the background

this is animusic btw and i watched the whole thing on pbs and it's p. cool and it's apparently some software they made that would automate the animation based on the midis they fed into it

damn, I want all the ms paint graphics plugins. this makes me want to mess with synth maker heavily. where else can 1 get min-effort-gui plugins? (haven't actly tested these plugins yet, cannot appraise/speak on actual plugin quality ... but that visual aesthetic is enough for warrant of download, real talk)
