digital space traveler inspired me to try making an adventure game set in similar dilapidated geocities worlds a few months ago. trio the punch is honestly a really fun game, i wish more games let you jump onto enemy projectiles/had a sheep that curses you

   
The Abashera (v2) revamped IQ 3D Maze Game
 
 
 

There are no guns, no weapons, no tedious bosses. You must rely on your intelligence to survive. There's no linear plot, you choose from session to session which mazes you shall explore. The missions vary: Kill all beasts, kill no beasts, find the Holy Grail or find the Ark of the Covenant, pick a certain number of diamonds, mushrooms, flowers, strawgoats or eggs, etc. The mazes are populated with a number of more or less smart critters such as: Commie Dogs and Capitalist Dogs, The One Who Sees, Blocker Frogs, Monobites, the deadly The One Who Hears and many more.

 
 



 

   3D Alien Babies vs Osama 1.00 (Commercial, $12.50)

You've never seen screensavers like these before. Three alien babies, and Osama spoof some of the greatest scenes in cinema history. The special edition contains three screensavers that spoof four movies, The Matrix, Dirty Harry/The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. All three scenes are in full 3D, and each animated character comes alive with humor and emotion. It's like watching a 3D movie on your PC.

i'm not sure where to even start on EJ Gold but he's a cult-leader conman with a complex in california who teaches about bardo with diablo 2 sessions and puts out a lot of strange videogames under a variety of fronts, among other things. this is hardly a comprehensive list but i figured i'd link to some of his better stuff.

strange pokemon clone made in 1999. I remember actually buying the disc online as a kid. Shows how desperate I was for anything resembling pokemon back then. I wish I could get the full version somewhere because I remember the readme file being hilarious to read through. The author had lots of ambition and was convinced this was better and not a rip off of pokemon.

oh calamity!!!... to my shame ,no, that game is not mine to call my own!!, sadly..... it's a very beautiful game but frustrating and confusing to play, thanks to some questionable camera/control decisions. EJ Gold, wow, what a colourful character! wow, that birthday card. wow... the world is a fantastic place

not going to lie, I am a huge sucker for 1970's styled fantasy animated crap, it does not hurt that the protagonist is some twinky thing boldly decked out in mauve leggings and tunic
 
my favorite thing is the super primitive synthesized voice bits confirming bonus points

I found that playthrough of that game when first looking for the death scenes in Dragon's Lair, which led me to the death scenes in thayers quest, which I had never heard of before
