i used my algorithm for generating melodies and freejazzed in buzz by copying and pasting chunks of pattern and made an EP out of it

I checked dis a lille bit, it's really just arreangement and MIDI reskins, so it's not yet full-soundwave imitations.

however, there's also Google's DeepMind. ok well that shit really imitates speech. but the real reason I wanna bring that up, cos as a music nerd im ofc checkin out the classical piano imitations DeepMind does... so couple of things:

1. sounds terrifyingly close to actual finesse piano playing...
2. sounds like a TERRIFIC mockup of classical "genius piano" post-Chopin *evil laugher*

I'm gonna say it now, hey i'll just say how we all really think deep inside.
lot of the "virtuosic" classical piano shit that Listz really started (or at least is a good prime example) is utter shit. it's just lot of miniature details on a very boring, poor compositions.
Chopin could do (and i think he did his fair share of "those" songs?) those ass-gaping stupid flourishes, but there's a good reason why his simple coffee-shop compositions still are played today over dat shit. my guess is that dat shit was what they got payed for and got easily the most rep and rap'rd for in those days (just like modern day guitar virtuosos). it's hard to make good songs.

THEN i found this gem from youtube ahhaha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTVwYFpK5Mo

BONUS LEVEL!:
i listened to ragnar's two new ep's shortly, with procedurally generated melodies. i'm really liking how we're going a full circle in history. bach autistically made so many compositions that they are listed in numbers and dumb signifiers (Ass on Major D, n.1174255), but did you know that most of his compositions are i recall, just just some plain ole mathematical variations without attention detail?? so much for artistry and beauty!
did you know that his major jam was he was EXTREMELY virtuosic in... leg pedal soloes??? *guy furiously tip-top'ing hooonks and huuunks in maaad speed on a church organ*
PULL A VEIN!!!

COP WORLD

a lot of the videos that come with unity extensions look like some kind of terse futuristic pornography. like instead of sonic or whatever everyone who grew up playing QWOP and katamari damacy gets into this instead

ahahah no fucking way, dude, i was just looking up the uFlex unity stuff last night in a quest for real-time cascades of blobs and slime. People are achieving some stunning results!!!!!! I'm in awe!!!! I feel a world of disgusting goo approaching the consumer!

It would be pretty much THE IDEAL puke simulator, and i bet you could easily drop the detail and make it work even faster. It also is capable of some insane looking animation with the rubbery dragons tying themselves in knots, that could easily make some absolutely fucked up shit. I'm so excited about this stupid plugin.
but i dunno about nvidia cards (whether it is smart to limit an effect like that) and i don't want to drop money!

I have a pet theory that the proliferation of Minecraft pornography is being driven by kids who are just now entering their teenage forms. I would hazard that its over-18 fans are by far the minority. Even though there's probably a depressingly large number of them. I sincerely can't wait to see the horrible new porn to which our free will will lead us.

honestly about the only hope i have left for videogames is in the idea of obsessive puke simulation software gradually becoming as basic and expected a functionality as... fpswalker scripts and the flashlights that everyone making a garbage unity horror game seems able to put together.. as in the entire rest of the game might be boring generic first person walking games, but there's this ludicriously elaborate puke physics system meshed into the middle of it all, and there are hundreds of games exactly like this, and nobody plays any of them. this is my dream, i think.

Throw away the so called progressive overlay. I trust my eyes more. I think the man in the Akiane painting, in the ISA mosaic and on the Turin Shroud Man are possibly the same person.

I've seen sexualized minecraft polygons, it's terrible. Down there with product mascots and cartoon characters from Fox's primetime lineup on my unsexy list.

Virtual fractal Mazes: A virtual Maze is one where the whole Maze isn't stored in memory at once. For example only store the 100x100 section of passages or so nearest your location, in a simulation where you walk through a large Maze. An extension of nested fractal Mazes can be used to create virtual Mazes of enormous size, such as a billion by a billion passages. Note a life size version of a billion by billion Maze (with six feet between passages) would cover the Earth's surface over 6000 times! Consider a 10^9 by 10^9 passage Maze, or a 10x10 Maze nested with 9 levels total. If we want at least a 100x100 section around us, we only need to create the 100x100 passage submaze at the lowest level, and the seven 10x10 Mazes it's nested within, to know exactly where the walls lie within a 100x100 section. (Actually it's best to have four adjacent 100x100 sections forming a square, in case you're near the edge or corner of a section, but the same concept applies.) To ensure the Maze remains consistent and never changes as you move around, have a formula to determine a random number seed for each coordinate at each nesting level. Virtual fractal Mazes are similar to a Mandelbrot set fractal, in which the pictures in a Mandelbrot exist virtually, and you just need to visit a particular coordinate at a high enough zoom level for them to reveal themselves.

Hahaha holy shit I loved that Daedalus game when I was a teenager. It could do mazes in 4D+, if you wanted to play clumsy, lonely capture the flag through space AND time. I felt pretty satisfied that I had found maze software that clearly "wants it" more than any other maze software in the world. I didn't know the author was a dragon.

Now if only it could put you in the Starmaze http://www.cartania.com/starmaze/intro.html
