banjo gyro is well made in every single way the more i think about it... i wish that visual novels looked like that, chest height cameras focused on characters while they wheel around little dollhouses concocting plots. (stepping OVER the SCARY 3d faces warping... polygons clearly) the idea of being obligated to do your job even while plotting against demons/malicious alien presences that come in disguise and get right up in your face seems awfully familiar as a dream idea... like i've seen that idea crop up a lot in various ways in what dreams i've read (of people's, on the internet). violations you can't do anything about, and multitasking with school /work rituals. the horrible way things fade between positions like in vidcon cutscene, of course, but the writing really really stunned me... rewatched again and again for more crazy lines and moments i didn't notice at first... it's got all this classic good shit: hyper oppressive fever mindwar, imagery with sinister inapprehensible meanings, cool teen fast food demon fighter band team skateboard kc green jokes and narrative, and the bit when sammy's walking the plate back from the demon with the horrible fucking panic sound playing and he kind of goes down the wrong hallway for a second? i'm not entirely sure where that hallway was, so maybe it was implying he was briefly heading for the front door?, but i took it as a fucking hilarious like half-second break from this panic attack inducing sequence where the guy on his first day of the job can't find the way back to the counter/kitchen.

and when the boss appears, who bill said was a demon... that amazing scene with him staring them down, there's a focus on sammy's ...ass? for a second? it's the same shot as when the mini demon taps him from behind, but i don't remember seeing a movement so i have no idea what that signifies. i know i'm wasting my time typing this out, there's lots of shit that just doesn't signify clearly on purpose, but man, i love this video. and i don't wanna go to..... /r/ spoopy side of yt. (worked up) in mundo ideal there were seasons and i own them on usb.. *frothing*:ANd DON'T you tell me it's more powerful as a ONE OFF!!! The plot lines hinted at, the implications yet unspun and Grady Train ougghtta be WORKED... like a fuckin' DOG... *pant* (Sedated with a syringe) Oh, yes, of course it doesn't work.
