As in, Franko the Crazy Revenge is an all-time classic beat them all. In my crude research I discovered a French forum thread asking about "beat them all" vs "beat em up", with some posters switching freely between the two, some seeming not to realize "beat them all" is a purely French thing, some having separate definitions for just how many enemies you fight at a time to constitute a beat them ALL. One of them indicated that the term arose in an unknown French gaming publication. Wh o woulda thunk.
