i'm still trying to work out an arrangement which satisfies all (by which i mean the people who help pay for my server) because i'm too poor to put 15 bucks a month into hosting by myself.

here's the deal. give me your minecraft usernames and i'll whitelist you and give you the IP to my server. presently we are updated to 1.6.6, on a fresh map, and no mods are installed. i think i'd like to keep it that way, but we'll see.

DDay's logs
Yesterday I log in and it was just me at night dieing spawned in a god forsaken poorly lite spawn area  after that I got some wood and head towards the house and EDC loged in I helped him out he seemed to log in midday after I checked out the house (I'm still not aware of who is the owner of it) I began to mine in the shaft that lead to a beginning of a mine and I started to dig a tunnel.

found a good deposit of coal and then Ejack logged I meet up with him in the unknown owners house and after a few mishaps and found a cavern in the mine tunnel I made. I found some deposits of iron, coal, zombies, and creepers

After all that I was done leaching off this house.  So i start it to build a house got done half of the first story and the night fall made a mad dash to put up some sort of roof and blocked the rest with sand. after that night i got done the roof and removed the sand and started the 2nd story floor.

Today I finished my 2nd story alone added a few chests and found an advance cave system near me and is rich with iron and coal in fact I think it's so advance if I go in any deeper I may not be able to find my way back.

Fuck i had over 64 iron and i lost it some how

Watch out if you guys are exploring around in the nether. I disconnected while I was in there, and I re-spawned on top of the map. With the layer of bedrock blocking me everywhere I go, I can't even kill myself to re-spawn.

Sooo, unless the person running the server can re-set my player location manually it looks like my account is forever banished to the forbidden zone.

I took the solitude as an opportunity to try and figure out the size of both maps. I've moved over 4000 steps in one direction and there is still no end in sight. The walking in one direction in a never-ending bedrock laden hellscape getting rather redundant so I'm probably going to start playing some dwarf fortress instead.
