Well, how about battles? To save time and calculations crap, we will keep to simple votes.
When a battle is coming up, the two battlers will be given instructions via PM and will have to come up with their battleplan. Both plans will be posted here, and we'll take the week voting on two fights at a time! Should be a lot of fun.

Yeah, I could be in for this since I was there the last time we tried on of these things. (or maybe it was only for the time before that, my memory doesn't serve me well)

But if there is only 2-4 of us willing, then we should probably skip it. (I do want to brush up on my drawing though, I've been really ignoring that habit as of late.)

You should sign Hero Bash up for the Battledome without his consent, he's practically asking for it.

Also is that 'special weapon' you PMed us with just a suggestion or is it actually a requirement? You said the theme was going to be cowboys vs aliens, and it seems kinda dumb for me to have a cowboy and/or alien type character if he's choosing to wield a weapon primarily associated with nautical warfare.

I just don't want you to be mad if I wind up bringing a pirate to high-noon western style showdown. Plus, wouldn't anything made out of stuff called 'saltstone' eventually dissolve if exposed to enough water anyways? It sounds like it would to me, but maybe I just don't know enough about this setting. (I guess making him a 'space-pirate' could solve both of those problems...) Maybe I'm just thinking too much about the setting, and not enough about just making myself some cool fighting guy to fight with.

At this point, I kinda want to know what everyone else's weapons are. As I am now curious to find out if I really was given the stupidest idea for a weapon out of everyone here, or if I'm just exaggerating and I should count myself lucky I wasn't given a weapon as dumb as Dudesoft's or Earlchip's or something.

I assume the battle mechanics are whatever your sequential storytelling skills can accomplish, along with how you corroborate with the person you are paired to fight with.

Also the special power I was 'assigned' was p. cool, so I don't mind giving too much about my weapon away as long as I can keep that much about him a secret still. (I'm assuming the battle itself is no-holds-barred, or else my special power is just going to be really dumb and no help to me whatsoever) I might just find a way to work the poorly contrived weapon I was given into the character design after all.

Sorry for late reply. I was using a weapon generator to create those weapons, and as Evil remarks, they are gay as hell. I only sent weapons to a few peeps. Feel free to omit them.

Anywho, this is going to start soon, so get your guys done!

As for battle mechanics--- it is mostly Rule of Cool. We vote on each battle winner until a champ comes out on top.
When a battle is coming up, you dudes write or draw short'n'sweet plans of attack, and they get posted in here together; which is what everyone will use to base their votes on.
If not enough people finish/join in, Hero Bash wins.
I'll still post everyone's work, regardless.
