No that was a joke. But seriously I think the overarching plot is now too convoluted to even focus to certain aspects and to add more plot threads. I even find it hard to keep up with all the characters and events that has been going on.

I'm also sorry. I might attempt to add some of the ideas and proposed back info I mentioned during my turn, but I don't want to force them down anyone's throat. After all we're each going to take our setting in different directions and will have to react to the twists and turns other people added.

There were too many loose ends- J5A's quest for revenge, Noel's past, Santa, who's by now an old coot and mere general nuisance,  and varied groups working in parallel directions seemingly without knowledge of each other- so I created the Magi, a sort of counter-conspiracy opposing the Khanate, to pull them together.  If it's too confusing to use, I'd understand, but I WAS trying to help.
BTW, go ahead and us the disco idea thing if you wish- my old idea for the setting isn't compatible with the Magi. I Do have old character art if you wish however.

I think that we could use it but not for another 4 chapters or so. There's just too many information that nobody would even care about anything since noone's being developed as a character. Exposition through their past aren't really needed as much as plans for how will they be in future.
Nah, I thought the disco idea was nat but I've already started outlining mine and was proving to be quite more ambitiou than I previously thought this might take some time.

OK. As I'd said before I could return to the Fringe setting and pursue some of that, but it would seem strange since our hero had  just been pulled out recently; one option is to remove that bit and extend the length of act 3.

I leave the Fringe universe to you so you could do whatever you want with it. Wait are you going to work on it now?

That's what I'd been considering, but as I'd said , since the imp was just pulled out it would seem awkward to return so soon. . .
How far along are you?

Hmm. a few sprites and stuff.
I'd been planning to add a scene hinting at the existence of Magi to the plot before handing it off.

And as for the back story, don't forget that "past is prologue"; the characters' pasts and goals will help to shape the narrative; knowing the goals the characters are reaching for, each participant can decide for himself what their next step is on the path to reach it, especially in response to the actions of other groups such as the Slimefish and Khanate.
I've also already suggested that the Fringe is likely to team with Balthazar; Considering the locations of the other two, it's likely they'll continue  working towards their goals from there; so the infiltrator continues spying and relaying info while the one with the imp's ear attempts to persuade him to join their cause.

Honestly I'd been busy with other matters- however people had earlier showing interest in it, and the new profile you set up has had 89 views. Until we put up a link however no-one will be able to try what's there.  Please send me your current title screen-if any different from what's shown- and I'll combine it with the new scene. Then one of us will need to put up a download link- perhaps we can put the game in our locker?
BTWI was able to successfully remix "pokerface" for the Pope fight; I've also included a second, "Angry" expression for Slimefish in tileset slimezb, but haven't quite gotten the hang of swapping the tiles yet.

I don't know, those were original resource made by thecatamites(?) or some other GWer, I think you need to ask permission first also to the maker of that chapter with Foget. I don't really want us editing what we have so far. The priority is more chapters and advancing the story.

Have you done anything yet ?I I'm gong in and fixing a few typos I found, and decided to tweak a few things. I'm also thinking that perhaps  Noel and  Virge knew each other via a gaming forum,  but never met in person until their Fringe days, which allows Noel's statement about "When we were kids" and  the proposed history I cooked up to mesh; on the Internet, you never know who's a dog and who's the grandson of Santa Claus. i"d also forgoten how difficult the Snow Ghosts puzzle is . .  I find it quite frustrating .
