Congrats. I've been wanting to do some indie game soundtracks for a while as I'm a music composition student and think it would be good practice, but I have no idea how to go about getting work like that. Places like TIGsource and RPGmaker.net are just crawling with composers and I don't really know how to stick out. Do you have any advice, Terrorantula?
Keep an eye on the forums especially RMN; people will often put out a request for music or a soundtrack; that's what happened in my case; the music the person's getting wasn't, in general, specifically composed for the person, just stuff I have around, which makes it a little different. However, the advice I
can give is to keep composing and share your works; not only in the creative forums here and on RMN, but perhaps on places like Newgrounds and Tindeck. Once people hear what you're capable of it should stir their interest. Also keep an eye out for indie studios you could contact offering to help.
