Also I like Penn and Teller but I do think they are hit or miss. That particular video that Kaworu linked was basically a miss because it targeted the weakest links in a pretty massive chain.

They also did a episode on second hand smoke that I thought was dumb.

But yeah, there are a lot of good episodes that I think have the right idea that they have done.

I always knew you were collectivist (EDIT: you make that clear in most of your posts), but I'm a little surprised you consider yourself the rest of that.

you, on the other hand are on a roll, keep going!

Don't think he was a collectivist. lol.

Anyway, I'm starting to realize maybe you don't like the very idea of having so many labels in one sentence. (yeah, Penn and Teller would feel the same).

Labels are just constructs. There is nothing inherently good or bad in their use.

Unless I'm off base completely. *shrugs*

You being vague and sarcastic and subtly insulting is a purposeful attempt to frustrate and annoy me. Its working. but not for the reasons you probably think.

Anarchist-communism, hmm, reading about it, aren't they at least pro-individualism?

Also I never said I was a capitalist by choice. The rest of my compound self-label is arguably neutral or irrelevant towards kropotkin's ideas (at least as a first glance skim read basis) with maybe the exception of "globalism" which he seems to not like in the least in terms of economics.

Isn't the opposite of Globalism, Isolationism? Which I'm pretty sure Dietcoke/Barack condemned a particular BOOTSTRAPS fan for. Though he said that was because it was racist in its intent or something. Maybe you are neither? You guys are a isolationism/globalism moderate or something?

As defined by who, Marx? geodude seems to be in the kropotkin camp. Is the effective difference being that one is authoritarian and the other is anti-authoritarian?

opposites
of what? me?

I have to go for a bit so I wont be responding for a while, feel free to discontinue your responses or even maybe doing the opposite and writing a wall of text (which I will read and try to comprehend to the best of my ability).

EDIT: or continue you short non-responses.

Actually, I'm curious, I suspect that all of you have a different reasons that you consider me your philosophical/political enemy. Which part of "direct-democratic individualist rational deterministic-consequentialist hopfully-realistic merit-technohumanist that likes the idea of globalism" do you not like exactly? surely not all of them.
None of this means anything but my guess is that you should just say "I'm normal people".

I'm normal people? As opposed to abnormal?

Probably have heard this response a lot: I wish that was the case.

Are all those beliefs that common or popular? or are you disregarding them as meaningless because they are labels?

huntington: clash of civilazations
friedman: it's a flat world after all
kaplan: travels into america's future
the coming anarchy

each of these articles have problems (esp huntington) but they outline it well enough

It depends on where you live, but in the West generally every country has a particular political spectrum. It's particularly narrow in the US. If you fall outside of the spectrum (socialists, communists, anarchists, and all their various sections, colors and flavors, are all considered to be outside of the spectrum in the West), you're considered abnormal at best, dangerous at worst.
