Ran across this:
http://mars-one.com/en/

EDIT:
Human settlement of Mars in 2023
Quote
Mars One will take humanity to Mars in 2023, to establish the foundation of a permanent settlement from which we will prosper, learn, and grow. Before the first crew lands, Mars One will have established a habitable, sustainable settlement designed to receive new astronauts every two years. To accomplish this, Mars One has developed a precise, realistic plan based entirely upon existing technologies. It is both economically and logistically feasible, in motion through the aggregation of existing suppliers and experts in space exploration.
We invite you to participate in this journey, by sharing our vision with your friends, by supporting our effort, and perhaps, by becoming the next Mars astronaut yourself.

DO you think Noscript is worth the trouble?

just going to put this right here

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1056985656/john-ks-cans-without-labels

seriously going to cry if this doesn't get funded btw. not just like a single manly tear rolling down my cheek as i stand before some poignant background, i'm talking like the deep guttural, full body cry where i convulse uncontrollably, moaning at the top of my lungs, stopping only to profusely vomit all over my genitals, exposed through the hole i inadvertently tore in my pants while writhing violently on the floor in pure agony
I would, except that John K's Ren & Stimpy untempered by the tempestuous forge of Nickelodeon was a fucking atrocious abortion of animation, and so too will any independent short he creates, I fear.

Yeah man, how can you say Ren and Stimpy had bad animation? John K is pretty fantastic at mise-en-scene and his expressions are second to none. Not to mention those disgusting acrylic stills.

Sorry, I suppose I wasn't clear.

Ren & Stimpy under the yoke of Nickelodeon was genius and one of my favorite shows.

Ren & Stimpy post-Nickelodeon, when John K basically had full control (thereafter called Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Show") is juvenile garbage. I mean, just look at this shit.

I swear it's like the censorship of the Nickelodeon years actually forced John K & co to actually be creative and devious, rather than relying on awful sex, feces, and fart jokes.

I don't exactly relish the thought of a 100% John K produced toon.

I was getting too frustrated with Noscript, so removed it, but installed Ghostery so I can see what's gong on. I may add it back in the future but I really found it very frustrating.

Yeah, Noscript is useful but I generally only use it when I visit a site I don't know about.

I always have ABP running though.

Which for me is quite often. However,   I Have Mcafee Site Advisor installed, as well as antivirus,  so it warns me about sites. Usually i avoid things it blocks but there are some exceptions such as Zophar's Domain and the like.
What's ABP again?

Ad Block Plus. It serves an different purpose, but it does something similar enough to Noscript that I put it in the same category of software. It just blocks ads on websites, and it uses a blacklist that the authors update rather than a white list the end user updates.

No doubt one of the most secure ways to surf the internet. I just prefer to not have it on all the time.

i like dreamhost.  relatively cheap, you can probably google up some sort of coupon code deal, and more or less reliable.  decent control panel to handle mysql, domain names, etc.  you can have it come pre-installed w/ wordpress if you want to blog.
