i have one of those homemade soda machines and put trash water in to it.  i go behind stores at night with a measuring cup and a large wine bag (drained of wine) and collect trash water from their dumpsters.  the end result of a day's capitalist toil, the collected fluids making a solution of Virtuous Hard Work.  I collect this in my wine bag (free-cycled, natch) and then process it with a CO2 cartridge and my SodaStream device ($80, Brookstone).  i've never felt better.  fortified by the draught i feel ready to take on the Communists and Sodomites who sneer and primp from their ivory towers.  elitists.

earlchip is a man who takes his Dr Pepper seriously swordfish do not engage it will end with bloodshed i am sure
I was talking about root beer. dr pepper is not root beer. correct your post if you wish to engage me further.

Dude, mexican coca cola is not only one of the very few coca colas that are still made in glass bottles, but it is one of the only colas that still uses real sugar instead of that artificial tasting corn syrup crap!

I won't tolerate people who diss on mexican coca cola, especially those who diss on the folks who are still willing to tout about it! (maybe you are just mad b/c the one thing Mexicans have that is actually better than what Americans have is the one thing America is supposed to be best at)

Maybe you only said that because mexican cola's superiority is so obvious to everyone, that stating anything of the such only serves as a redundant waste of space. But if had chosen not to speak up instead, then that would mean you win.
coca cola isn't american, it's global. mexican coke is ok, but there are plenty of American-made colas that are far superior (and bottled in glass)

Jones Cola is decent. But its overly expensive. Most Off brand colas are pretty bleh. but I drink them anyway because that is usually what stocked at my house hold and I like cola too much to just give it up.

As for Pepsi and Coke, I like both more than off- and store-brands 99% of the time. I like Pepsi a little more than Coke but Mexican Coke (comes in a glass bottle, real sugar) is slightly better than Mexican Pepsi (also comes in a glass bottle, real sugar).

Really I'm a cola person. But outside of that not really a soda person. Root Beer is ok but it feels incomplete to me in most cases with out some vanilla ice cream mixed in.

Dr. Pepper can be ok as an occasional break from the normal cola, and it used to be my favorite drink. but its rare that I'll pick Dr. Pepper.

Sprite/7up/Sierra Mist was the first Sodas I started to really like. Oddly enough though I stopped liking them too much and now very rarely drink any at all. (plus its supposedly 7 times worse for my teeth than non-citrus soda)

I know exactly what you mean, the only fizzy stuff I drink any more is coke/pepsi (and dervatives like max, vanilla, orange, cherry) otherwise I prefer stuff like apple juice or orange oasis (doesn't leave that dry feeling in your mouth like most drinks) I do occasinaly drink fizzy orange (mirrinda) and fizzy strawberry (mirrinda) but there only every now and then.

Untill it was mentioned, I had no IDEA that there was a drink called pepsi RAW.

I wish I knew where to get strong tasting root bear where I live.
