not one person here lacks awareness of mysogyny. They are perfectly aware of it and she's railing on that shit to the point of unhealthy obsession. Complete condemnation and defensiveness of petty word usage and concepts of gender. It is really really really really annoying. regardless of who in the hell is saying it female or male (oh shit I did just do that). Its annoying in the first place and the fact that she uses her womanhood to devalue the opinions of others and persistantly force condescending arguments on everyone else because they've got a penis and they're priveledged is even worse. Its fucking terrible. I cannot understand how A) you people can sit here and accept her saying that shit and B) go along with it and propel her arguments.

If you want to educate someone you have to A) realize if that person is even willing to learn and B) talk to them on a relatable level. Saying THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD THINK BECAUSE ANY OTHER WAY IS IMMORAL AND WHAT YOU THINK DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE YOU GOT IT EASY doesn't do jack shit but get you completely ignored and despised.

I'd fucking love if everyone got along just dandy and didn't treat each other like shit but its a part of life. Animals do it, people do it, fuck even plants do it. Bigger tree sucks the sun from the smaller one. Of course an enlightened person can learn to change that train of thought and pursue different behavior but you telling them to won't make that happen. Its something they have to realize for themselves.
Personal preservation, independance, and resiliance are some of the most important human traits. By demanding society conform to what you personally want. By commanding people to change because you don't like it. That shit wears those things away, it devalues them, and people are far less likely to realize them.
Its kind of the same vein of thinking as public smoking, loud noises, stupid thoughts and expression are a form of pollution. If you want to change all these things, change all these people. Whats public anymore? Wheres your freedom? How do you learn to realize what you should and shouldn't expose yourself to? Its no ones right to clean those things up for you.
To me thats just as bad as the fundamentalist right wanting to constrict the actions of homosexuals or make kids pray in schools or tell women what they can or can't do to their bodies. Its the other side of the same damn coin. If you want your right to do certain shit you have to respect the other viewpoint. Even if its dumb.
And I'm going between saying trying to change people that don't want to be changed is wrong and flooding this forum in feminist pre-conceptions and personal vendettas with closed ears is wrong. I know it. They're pretty much unrelated.
It goes back to intent. This is a place for education and understanding right? Then if you want to actually talk to people then you've got to make an effort to understand their intent. Fuck if I'm not gonna use every single word I can find to express what I think or wanna say. If you don't like it, then ignore it. Kaworu didn't call anyone a cunt but himself. He used the damn word. By railing on that stuff you're limiting language and expression if you really want genders to not matter then the best way to deal with that shit is to understand its how people speak not what they say or who is saying it.
"You can't know what people intend" is a bullshit argument too. Thats the very first element of language and the whole reason said shit exists. If someone says something and you don't know what it means then ask them to clarify but I'm PRETTY SURE everyone here is more than capable of that and this language policing goddamn net crusader shit is awful, draining, and incredibly boring.
