upon submitting my vote i noticed it was carried off by a large and glamorous bird hiding behind the ballot. i could not catch it before it lifted off, revealing wings with patterns resembling the US flag, and burst into flames

i am kind of a shithead because i slept in and woke up not being at all interested in leaving my house, even though i actually care about some of the ballot questions they've got this year. now i feel all guilty and shit because the gay marriage ballot question is leading by like thirty people and it would only take one strong gust of wind to bring out all the ignorant rednecks to kill it.

i should change my party affiliation to DEAD WEIGHT SEWER SCUM (DWSS)

in related news my parents got really unpleasantly conservative in the past couple years, and right now fox news is already saying MITT ROMNEY HAS NO CHANCE WE WILL ALL BE DEAD IN 48 HOURS. it is almost fun seeing their parade get rained on. almost fun. it would probably be fun if i didn't find this shit phenomenally tiresome and futile.

Is the result for this in yet? Surprises me it was ever so close to begin with, the way I understand it this type of thing has literally never been won through popular vote.

yeah, it actually got passed through! 52%-48%, which was literally as wide as that gap was as they were counting it all up. i swear it got as low as 50.2-49.8 at one point.
