warped, what is with your view of mortality? do you really think you'll do/enjoy that much more in your artificially extended life to justify the effort?
Yes, but even if not, I'd rather be bored than dead. As an aside: I'm a atheist-agnostic, I doubt there is an existence after death, but I acknowledge the slim possibility, though I'd still prefer a life on earth to one in 'heaven' or existing as myself than having to deal with the messiness of reincarnation.
And already almost everyone on this forum is already bound to experience a 'artificially' extended lifespan anyway even if the advancement of medical science grinds to a halt. Or at least when it comes to the probabilities of their lifespan. I just want to have more than 10-40 extra years that med science currently (or at least arguably) increases it.
I also don't want to experience 'aging' in of itself. Becoming old and decrepit. Which if we extend our lives
theoretically infinitely indefinitely we wont have to endure that shit.
