This is still fantastic despite that gross oversight though. The setup made it look like a recurring comic with truly memorable scuba diving characters, but as it turns out the absolute best thing about that comic is that it ended.

I am conflicted, I truly truly want to see more of this comic and the wacky adventures therein. But if it turns out that the two main characters are not dead, then this comic will lose all of my respect and I will no longer truly truly want to see more anymore! (I guess it could be resolved with flashbacks, or the entire thing being written in reverse or something... Maybe it will be better off for everyone already knowing how it all is going to end.)

I hate making assumptions about that sort of stuff, but I could tell you were a girl by the drawings in your comic.

I don't think sexist things like "guys are better than girls at math-stuff" or whatever. But one sexist thing I do think, is that girls are just naturally more talented at drawing stuff that is more enjoyable to look at. (I guess it is a still a stereotype, even if it is a positive one)

Sure guys can be SKILLED with their drawings (or not), but regardless of skill level or technique involved, I just always enjoy myself more in general when looking at stuff drawn by girls. As a guy this difficult-to-explain quality I am often picking up on when it comes to these drawings makes me super-jealous, but I accept it is something I am more or less incapable of replicating when I draw stuff on my own.

It gives me a bit of an intuition though when I am introduced to someone by drawings alone. I would honestly have been a lot more surprised if it turned out you were not a girl.
