EDIT: also, i challenge all of you to write your haiku poems according to ALL haiku rules! obviously, you must use a 5-7-5 syllable pattern (or morae pattern, if in Japanese); you must use no more than one verb; you must have a "kigo", or seasonal word; you must use elements which emphasize both the ephemeral and the eternal; etc... do it if you dare...!!
