He reels you in with them adorable eyes, then clasps onto your arm/leg and vibrates vigorously, over, and over again.
He's the biggest horndog in the world.
don't mind me, just postin' after a few brewskies

So basically, if he was around some female rabbits, he'd be a playa?

I got a bull-mastif from my uncle because he had to get rid of him cus of moving from a divorce. He's a pretty cool dog. He's like a year and a half old and scared of everything. I haven't really had time to mess with him in awhile but I take him walking every so often. He's really scared of just about everything. He stops at the end of my road and won't keep walking because theres a girl dog there that he's scared of so I take him back. He's been hanging out with my lil bro's shitheaded lil blue pit and we think he managed to get her pregnant so we're prolly gonna have some bull bull mastif puppies. I don't really have a pic of him now but I might take one later.

didn't really let it happen but I'm always gone working, my mom is busy most of the time, and my bro is usually too high to give a shit. I think she was the one that pushed him into it because she's really dumb and aggressive dog because my brother didn't raise her right but those puppies won't be hard to get rid of at all. I got papers on mine and I think my bro has papers too but if he didn't they're both very pretty dogs and I honestly can't wait to see what a blue mastiff would look like.

We've decided that my bro is gonna take female pick of the litter and I'll take the male and we'll give the rest away. My mom is gonna take harley because she likes him. He's a very friendly calm natured dog but he's very big and scary lookin so he helps keep people away that should be there even if he doesn't realize it.

I was gonna try to toughen him up a bit and make him a lil more aggressive. Not like an attack dog or anything but a guard dog. I was gonna feed him steaks and maybe play with him and stuff to get him to do it but I just don't think he's got it in him. He's a pacifist dog.

Also apparently he loves going to the river and swimming but fucking hates taking baths and getting washed I dunno how that works.

Dude I'm really questioning how much you need a dog right now.  None of this is good stuff.

e: Like I really don't wanna get on your case but I care a LOT about dogs and you really don't seem to know what you're doing.  You shouldn't be encouraging aggression in a dog and I don't know what you think feeding one steaks is going to do and basically you're going to be in for a LOT of trouble if you try this.  If you even vaguely want to make a guard dog out of your dog you'd better be finding a professional to help you because you don't know what you're doing.

I was gonna feed him real meat and not that processed dogfood shit because the protein would help him get bigger and his coat would look better if he got enough excersize but my uncle told me not to do it because then he wouldn't wanna eat dogfood and I'm not around all the time to make him real food. I would prolly feed him steaks when I cook them but I wouldn't just do that but every so often I'd just cook leftover parts of meat I that I use for cooking or read into what works best and cook it for him.

To make a guard dog want to be a guard dog you have to start training them to do it from being a pup and you've got to be very attentive and I don't really have the time to do it right now. He's too old anyways which is why I decided not to do it. I was also asking and thinking about different ways to do it because the only way I'm familiar with is fucked up and I don't want to do it.

I'm not in a place to really actively keep an animal cus I'm not home enough. Harley knows who I am but as far as being his owner or main provider he doesn't consider me that cus I'm not around all the time. Which is why if I actually keep a pup I was gonna give it to my girlfriend and her kiddies so they can play with him and take care of him and I'd train him a lil bit when I was off. Its up to them though. When I got harley I only did it as a favor to my uncle so he wouldn't have to give it to a stranger and only if my mom and bro helped take care of him. My bro is a dumb jit and my mom mostly does it but she likes him now so he's pretty much her dog.

I know how to take care of animals I used to raise chickens and dogs, cats, and we've got horses too. I've never had a dog exclusively from being a pup though so it would be a learning experience. Well I kind of did but I was too young to know how to train them, I know a lil bit now. Like house breaking and a few tricks and getting them bigger and stronger. You usually use a weighted chain and put them on it for a little while and get them to walk around with it, it helps them build up muscle. Not like locking a dog to a tree or any inhumane shit like that. Kind of like doggy weightlifting.

My uncle keeps alot of pits. He can make them attack on command and they bark at strangers. They're not like fighting dogs or anything they're just very protective guard dogs. I don't really like the level of aggressiveness he's got em at but I could prolly ask around and pick out different safe and non-assholish ways of doing it and try that.

i want lizards. i am very seriously considering getting a couple of geckos very soon - or maybe a salamander, just a basic hand sized lizard basically. i hear they are good starter lizards. later, i'll get a chameleon later (they seem like the best ones, except iguanas) and then when i have a house i'll have two big old dogs and an iguana. that's gonna be my crew, and also some other hu-mans will live with me.

also i love turtles. i'm pretty into lizards, i think. and also dogs. i wish i had cool animals buddies but i am too irresponsible and move country a lot.

The best lizard is the bearded dragon UGH

They're excellent beginners lizards but require more room than, say, a leopard gecko.  But god they are the best.

i sort of want a dog but i'm pretty busy and not around a lot and i think it'd be kind of shitty to leave a dog home alone all day every day.  aren't you like supposed to walk them multiple times a day?  plus all the other attention one would probably need.  in my old place i had a neighbor who did this and his dog would like wail all day and it wasn't really annoying, but he sounded like the loneliest dog on the planet.  it was a really cool dog tho.

otoh my girlfriend's family has dogs and they're annoying stupid yipping pieces of shit who eat dumb things and then puke everywhere.  dogs are disgusting.  are all dogs this disgusting?  when i get drunk or high i convince myself it's not that bad but when i sober up i realize it probably is.  i keep telling her no they're gross we're not getting one but secretly i might want to.

Dogs own but if you don't have time to dedicate to them you don't need one. Ignored dogs are troublesome dogs, they need attention and training or else they become depressed destruction machines.

Depends on the dog. Lucy was far from ignored but she was occasionally left at home for a few days when the family left for something (she was weird, she HATED car rides so we couldn't really take her with us) and she never destroyed anything.

"Occasionally" and "frequently" are very different things.  Leaving a dog on its own for a few days (although I wouldn't advise doin this either unless someone can stop by to check on it at least once a day) is different than not having time in your regular daily life for one.

how much time are we talkin' here

i go to school and have a job.  it's not like i don't have free time.  i'm confident i could walk it on a daily basis even if it wasn't at a consistent time.  but i feel like i'm gone a lot for like... large chunks of time and so is my girlfriend and didn't know how healthy it was to frequently leave a dog all by itself all day and come home to it at night.  a lot of people i know seem to do this but i've always wondered whether it was safe/fair to the dog

Man I want a bearded dragon so bad, they own. Need a license though and tbh I probably need a bigger place first.

I adopted an 11 year old cat from the local RSPCA (animal shelter) and he is really cool. Always wanted a black cat and he's still got a heap of energy, but is p snuggly and friendly too.
