ARGGG.

There was this one game for Genesis I remember playing way too much of.  It was a turn-based strategy, set in the near future, had a hex-based grid and was really similar to Advance Wars.  The setting for it though was a bit like Desert Storm, and didn't have SUPER ROBOTS or anything, pretty much modern setting.  Any help at all?  I really want to play it again!

Arggg, I know this one.  I've never played it before but I know I've heard it before.  General something (not General Chaos).  Oh well.

No, it's neither of those.  It had really clear graphics, and it was grid based.  Also, it was pretty much a SERIOUS game, no aliens or super soldiers or anything.

OK. I want to find this SNES game.

It's a game that is like Sim City. You  know, you have to build your city and stuff. The setting however, is outter space (I think), I think you were able to chose from different areas orp planets, and... you have like a comitee of aliens who aid you into what you have to do in order to keep you space city or whatever healthy.

And that's all I remember.

The only thing I can think of is Starflight and that's a genesis game.

I know what this is called but it's too far in the back of my idea.  I remember it was posted several times during arguments against advance wars.

No, it's a SNES game.. 100% sure of it. Since my brothers and I used to play it when we were little, and we only had a SNES.

I trying to remember a game for the PC. It was a point and click game (like Monkey Island) At the beginning you was locked in a cell. To escape you had to turn the light out, attach a wire from the light bulb to the metal door and call the guard. When the door opened you switched the light on, the guard got shocked and you escaped. Any Ideas?

I own it - it's ok but you can win pretty fast if you make a lot of labs and spend a lot on research, I think.

Might be one of the early Simon the Sorcerer games, its a long shot though.

I remember this one Sega Genesis/maybe SNES platformer from around the mid 90's that was about a STARFISH or a star or something.  It had cool music, and uhh... that's all I remember about it really.  Any ideas?

Ristar the Shooting Star maybe?  It was on Sega Genesis and it's a very fun platformer.

Operation Europe or Pacific Theater of Operations are the only other games I can think of if it wasn't one of the previously mentioned games.

Oops, almost forgot I had posted something here.

No it's not Adventure of Lomax. I'ts a Snes game and it's the exact same graphical style as all the lemmings game. Instead of changing the action of certain lemming, you play a grown up one that can create block to create a path to the exit and block traps. I really dont know what else I could say about it... ><

Seems like I need help as well.

I'm looking for a SNES game that had you playing as some dork that looked similar to the male character in Zombies Ate My Neighbors. He wore green clothes(I think).
In it he was shrunken down to the size of a bug(I think) and the first level, from what I can remember, was a house and the boss of it was a really scary looking Rat(I believe it was what stopped me from playing it).

I posted this in the Rare Games Topic in G&D but nobody responded so I'm going to try here. I am 100% sure I have heard of a game called In A Dark Forest but I absolutely cannot find it. I think someone on GW mentioned it, but a forum search doesn't dig up anything. Google is not helpful either. It's supposedly a free amateur game.
