Yes Yes I will do!
I love Ludum dares but have never felt like I can fit anything into a single weekend. I like that we get a whole week for this.

Really like how this is set up, and all the excitement for it. The last two LD's I was in I didn't pull through in time, and the last two SW jams I had the time, but they lacked the overall participation.

Working by Myself (Totally open to anyone wanting to join in with an unknown. I can do art and coding, but am open to anyone with any sort of talent.)

Since I got a week leading up to it, it would be a great chance to teach myself Moonscript. Failing that, I would probably just go with AS3 (it would be AS2, but funnily enough I was too lazy to even use it at all back in the day. By the time I was ready to actually use it for something, AS3 was already out)

*im looking at you, ya stinking oldies, just fart any game at all! i know i had the time of my life with dickos game and his game consisted of 1 button and lasted 1 minute + was hella cheaply made (also made in rpg maker 2000) but was crazy fun ahhaha.

hey! i'm new obviously.  this place seems pretty cool so i'll attempt to win your 3d printed head.

I'm going to be using an engine that i am currently developing. it used to run on android untill i broke that build, and it kind of half runs on snow leopard.  but mostly it just runs on linux. I'm still a nobody.

I was wandering through the most recent Ludum Dare blog posts, and I happened to bump into this one

This jam's coming at a good time for me - I'm taking part in OneGameAMonth, almost entirely through game jams, but there don't seem to be too many other game jams on this month (apart from some whole-month-long ones that don't interest me as much).

So yeah. I'm in!

Location: The north of England.
Team: Just me.
Tools: For game jams, I normally use Unity3D for 3D stuff or Love2D for 2D stuff. But I've been meaning to play around with some new tools, so I may well end up using something else for this jam, like SFML or Ogre3D or something.

By the way, do we have an IRC channel for this jam?

Can I just say, if you're new to this forum and you're not sold on joining SW just yet - go and check out denzquix's thread on iconic game archaeology. Nice to meecha.
heyy thanks for the thread-plug!

also if anyone finds themselves with no inspiration for a game title/concept, might I suggest this one weird tip......

get an older version of mIRC, places like CNet or whatever usually have all versions up for download. get like 6.17 or 6.18, they've served me well since 2003
